there are two scenarios:

a) hes putting pressure on the front office
b) he really wants out

let me say something, dame has certainly earned his right to leave, but after all the talk about loyalty, that would be really disappointing, to put it mildly

Look man I am as progressive as they come. I worship at the feet of AOC and Bernie. But I can see through the nonsense going on at that site. The guy is stoking the fire with half information and on a crusade to paint the org in an unfair light and dame is catching drive bys by the idiots that post there.
 
as much as i dislike Neil Olshey, i do not belive for a second that Dame is "innocent" in this Coaching Drama, he definetly knew about Billups at some point during the Interviews

Powell and Nurk are the old guys there at 26/28, gives Billups a couple seasons to get his system installed.

Of course he did. But not at the beginning

I respect Dame more that he sat in the interview. Heard from Billups directly about what happened and since the vetting process came back fine, why should Dame be at fault about any of this
 
Also I bet Chris Haynes probably just wanted to capitalize on the situation once again and throw a lit match into a gas tank for clicks again. Dame just needs to get away from this coattails riding hack

Because fans are fucking idiots, who want any reason to complain?

the man has done zero wrong while here, never complains (and has had plenty of reason to) and these 'fans' are pissing on that. Most of them, I'd bet, aren't even fans.

I’m not sure dame was even involved with this particular article. I mean it was so vague. There was nothing new in it except a line about fan backlash. We already know he’s waiting to see how the offseason goes. Just felt like a cheap way to get clicks.

btw this "inability to build a title contender" is a bit laughable to me. If he wasn’t buddy buddy with CJ, who knows maybe we would have traded him long time ago. And his loyalty to Stotts absolutely killed him in the past 5 years, and signing a super super Max doesn’t give your team a great chance to get another All Star, maybe take a bit less, you won't starve. And please don't tell me Dame is not the GM he doesn't have influence on those things, he sure does. In todays NBA Superstar are powerful like never before

I'm with you. This whole situation is just so incredibly annoying on every level. And it could have easily been avoided, or at least handled with foresight. This is Olshey's mess, not Dame's.
 
There is a very good chance that this bruhaha about Becky will diminish her chance, and the chance of any woman becoming a head coach in the future.

If you were a GM, you could diminish the backlash by just not interviewing a woman in the first place.

Just blow it up and tank if it came to that. That team above wouldn't be the worst team in the league. Trade Dame to OKC for 10 first rounders if that is where we are going.

I kind of agree.

But also, if Dame pulls a 180 here, it would pretty much mean nothing he says in the future can be taken at face value (I'm not saying he has, or whatever, just saying IF).

Says he wants to stay here, doesn't want to chase rings, etc...but is a little upset that a small group of fucking idiots social media are getting their boners up in a rift?

I hope, if it's true he's upset over it, someone just says to Damian "look, those aren't actual fans. Not saying that actual fans of the team don't have concerns over things, but these aren't reasonable adults we're talking about. You don't go to a college kegger party to have a discussion with reasonable people".
