I'm kind of waiting for bonesjones, hoopsjock, or boobs-no-more or one of the other guys that 'scout' these young players more to tell me if any of these guys are good. I recognize all the names but besides GP2 I'm having a hard time putting a game to the name.
 
Thank god they didn’t get two way deals.
 
Which players will get the 2 way contracts? Should be 2 of them at least.

I don’t want to guess because I suck at it... I legit thought Anthony Morrow was a great pick up last year and would be a good shooter specialist for them. He didn’t even make the team lol...

Problem was, he didn't want to be here and put forth ZERO effort. I was very disappointed by his lack of professionalism, for a guy who was supposedly a hard worker and good locker room presence.

He had that one preseason game where he was just hitting everything and I was so excited, and so wrong. ...

I guess he’s already made a lot of money but I don’t get why he would be that picky...

I missed this. I thought it was mighty strange he didn't make the team. What happened?
 
Anthony Morrow didn't make the team because he put zero effort in on the defensive side of the ball.
He didn't have to do much, but he had to show he at least cared.
 
Out of these 3 players there only one of these guys I would consider 2 way player and that's Onuaka very good on D and is offense still needs work. But he young good at protecting the rim and good rebounder. I believe 7'3" wing span and 9'1" reach.

The Crabbe replacement role was his for the taking. All he had to do was pretend he cared. He didn't. He got beat out by Pat Connaughton. 'Nuff said.

That wasn’t his only problem. He could barely move, with or without the ball and had nothing to offer outside of an open, set, three.

Journeyman for a reason.

His scoring has improved with all the PT he's been getting in the G League. He's never going to be a guy you look to for scoring, but at least he's efficient and opportunistic and seems to know his limits. Snd, yes, he's a very good rebounder and a pretty decent shot blocker.

I’m not cheering against Meyers, just think it’s time for all parties involved to move on. Maybe he puts it together this year...
 
Morrow is a big no. He acted like he was playing in a YMCA rec league. I don't even know why the Blazers brought him in.
 
All I know is a lot of my son's friends from OSU ..one played with Payton call him a really selfish asshole who plays a selfish game...who knows...maybe not getting on a roster has humbled him...kids grow up I guess. He's a big question mark but maybe worth a look...we seem to keep a good locker room..don't think our vets put up with much BS
