CJ breaks foot in practice

Would it be better to just sit the year out, make sure the foot is healed, and do the rookie season next year?

So 8-10 weeks huh? So possible back in late December? I'd bring him back in January just to be safe.

With the depth at that position there is absolutely no reason to rush him back at all

That never worked for the last injury prone lottery pick.

Yeah, but in this case he broke the exact same bone in his foot that he broke last time. So obviously something wasn't healed properly.

Hey sly.... Was I overreacting?

At the time yes you were. I was reading the same twitter feeds you were. It was being reported as only a sprain when you started trolling. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Fuck me! I sure hope this season isn't riddled with injuries again. I don't know if I can take it anymore
Seems every year I find myself wondering if we can finally catch a break (no pun intended) and then I wonder if we used up all of or most of our luck on Lillard

The good news is we have the depth to deal with this. Barton and Crabbe are not needed. Lillard/Matthews/Williams is a fine rotation. I'm not worried about the team. I feel bad for CJ.

Exactly. It's just a bummer. I'm not worried because I think we have the depth to make it a non-factor, but it still sucks for the kid. I was excited to see how he'd do.
