No. It wasn't. Posters in here can't help but trot out Trump. I'm simply responding. Leave Trump out of the conversation, and so will I.

It was. It is in response to some liberal created threads taunting Trump voters. (Some of which were closed by us moderators). I get it, your trying to get the liberals here back for those threads. Not, a sound way to do it though. It's kind of backfiring.

For the record Joe was not my choice, but he will win the nomination. I will vote for him over Trump.

Oh please...just knock it off and stop with the "who me?" BS.

You once again created an ill-advised thread to stir shit up and once again blew up in your face...live with it.

Funny how often that happens.

Defending Trump is unbelievable. Like, creepy unbelievable. ABM: the issue you have ever cared about is right to life and your boy has almost no regard for human lives and wants to unleash American workers in two weeks so people can go to work and if you get infected suck it up. It is the single most hypocritical thing I have ever seen. Don’t touch that fetus! Hey gramps, do you mind dying so we can go work?

Well stated...it's sad and humorous at the same time, but accurate.

Look, my premise was that the Dems may very well be scrambling to get Cuomo into the mix and that I thought he had a very good speech on Sunday - and took notice - and that if our next President were a Democrat, I'd ABSOLUTELY wish it were Cuomo over that half-pint Biden.

Go back and look at my posts. That's EXACTLY what I was saying.

Besides, I'm about a 1 against 30 ratio in here. I should have the right to say whatever I want within the forum code of conduct rules.

Nothing is backfiring.

Last I checked, it's the respective governors who have the final say on who goes (back) to work....or not.

Hmmm...does that include the governors who Trump said "need to be nice to him in order for him to be nice to them"?

No the Dems aren't. It's too late. Maybe for 2024...but I hope not. You would like Cuomo over Biden cool. You certainly have the right to your opinion. Never said you broke any rules here. Just calling this thread for what it is.

Your assumption that we liberals would take offense to your mocking of Biden has backfired. If Biden is the nominee...and he is the presumptive nominee...then yes he is "our guy" over Trump any day.

Happy fer ya. I simply said that Joe's a trainwreck and that Cuomo would be a huge upgrade fro your side.

While the chances are slim for that happening, he's sure getting a lot of play....

...from who?...other than you and legalsportsbetting?...they're hard up for betting since there's currently no sports to bet on.

...are you ever going to answer the question about exactly what you meant when you said "Trump is gone"?

Think about it, though. You're spending a LOT of time bashing Trump. The fact, though, is an election is coming up. Do you REALLY want Biden to take the reins in all of this? This is a reality check for the Democratic (alternative) party. At some point, you'll need to look yourselves in the mirror and say, "This is it. The time is now. Games are over. We have a critical decision to make."
LOL. It's not a decision. I'd vote for Biden's loose stool over Trump. Doesn't matter. Vote Blue No Matter Who. Biden is a stop gap. The dems can address their future after the tragedy of trump.

Sorry, Dems don’t get off that easily. They don’t just get to be a bunch of corrupt fuckheads and then point at Trump whenever they are called out for it. Even progressives are getting tired of the ‘vote blue no matter who’ attempts at strong arming the public. It’s a bully tactic and allows the Democrats to operate without culpability, or so they think. We will see come November how many far-left progressives turn out for Joe “Iraq War” Biden.

Probably very few, but so what? There are elements of the Republican party that are turned off by their nominee, too.

Most voters will accept that it's a choice between two flawed candidates, as it always is, and will vote for who they perceive to be the better of the two.

Anything else would smack of dementia.

Most will, yes. That doesn’t make a persons vote for a third party the same as a vote for Trump. That’s called bullying.

You have an extremely expansive definition of "bullying." An opinion you dislike is not "bullying." It's perfectly rational to believe, and say, that if you want a voice in the government we're actually going to have, voting third party is a waste of a vote. Because whomever you vote for is not, in fact, going to be part of the next government.

If you want to vote third party for philosophical reasons, go for it. But the above viewpoint isn't bullying.

Your calling it bullying is akin to me saying that your earlier standpoint of "Stop holding up the bill, blindly vote for it because people need help" was bullying. I don't actually think it was, but it's just as fair to call that bullying as what you're calling bullying.

So if you vote for Biden and he loses did you waste your vote since he wont have a part of the next government?

You're right, I was imprecise in my post. If you want a say, not a voice. Biden has a legitimate chance, so voting for him is having a say, even if you lose. Voting for the Libertarian candidate is a waste of a vote if you want a say in the next government, since the Libertarian candidate is certainly not going to win the Presidency.

There are systems of government where voting for smaller parties still gives you a say in the actual government, but our current system isn't one of them.
