Funny how the same 3 or 4 guys keep bringing it at me and the same guys keep LIKING each other's posts. Some some kinda' forum geek snitch gang or something. Patting each other on the back after they take turns snitching out the popular kid in class.
This just in, The HCP is scaring people away from S2 now? After all the years of people joining BECAUSE of me. Some guy I have never heard of quit the 3 on 3 team....becauseof ME? I don't remember this happening. And I guess people aren't even joining because of me as well. Does anybody else remember hearing about this?

On a serious note, you 4 or 5 should be embarrassed of yourselves. Taking so much of your free time thinking about another man the way you are and letting him get you so upset. Breath, hit the ignore button and move on with your life. I obviously don't add any value to this place according to you, so what will you miss.
Heading out to dinner with some coworkers. Up here in Seattle working for the Seahawks. Can't wait to get back to my room and see what you guys have posted about me. Oops, was I just "bragging" about my work, I'm sorry. Hope I didn't offend you guys.

Everyone who played on the 3 on 3 team knew HCP had nothing to do with it and if for some reason someone thought they were for whatever reason not on the team they would have asked me and BonesJones in that private message thread.

Just not buying that while I'm asking them for their registration info and what names and numbers they want on their custom jerseys that they would believe HCP telling them they were off the team.

I would say it's most likely that either.

1. He wasn't a member before the tourney and was recruited to play, maybe forums aren't his thing.

2. IT'S THE FUCKING OFF SEASON AND THE ONLY THING WE HAVE TO TALK ABOUT IS A MAYBE MELO TRADE AND HCP.

I'm not going to waste the time looking into this.

I'm guessing you probably said something to @RipCityRyan about being off the team because teasing new members is your thing.

I'm doubting that he actually believed you.

What I know to be false is that you chased him off because of you saying he was off the team.

I know this because I was talking to him and saw him post in the forum before, during, and after the tournament.

Curious would you mind if I hired a third party to investigate said accusations. This could look bad on my resume if it is in fact true. I should probably get the rook......errrr....new member's info for questioning. And what about the same guy said I was keeping people from actually joining. Is there a way to find this out? You know me, I'm not all good with the computering and all the technology.

All I know is your wife has done more to welcome new members (get it, members, hahahahaha!) than you have to discourage them.

If everyone would take a moment to welcome new members then the teasing that HCP does wouldn't mean a thing to them.

And as far as putting together a 3on3 team, I helped put the first team together, I think with BobDob. Denny mailed me a check to cover the cost and I passed it along to Bob and let him be the GM if you will. I also a few years back , thru my connections thru the nba, (hope that wasn't "bragging") was able to get a team of a few guys up to Yakima for their 3on3 team at no cost.
I'd have to go back, but I do believe it was three pretty new dorks on here as well. So see, there are examples of me being nice to you people.
 
I don't even remember what this place was like before HCP joined the forum a few years ago.

I've heard things about how you almost made new people quit, I've heard things about how youce scared away new members, and I've also had people specifically say to me that you've made them not want to post anymore.

But if someone tries to bring up that up or so you're being too hard on them, they get talked down to, made fun of by long-time members, and you mock them by talking about how great you are and communicating in a condescending way with words such as "son", "newbie", etc. I politely told you I'd prefer not to be called son and you ranted at me. Do you not see the problem?

It goes as far as you not being able to take a joke from Doug, stirring up drama with him even though he's one of the most level-headed posters, and it results in rants, with you blaming others for doing stuff that you're actually doing yourself.

I wouldn't feel that way but there's going to be some people that will. It's never 20 to 1 though. Long time posters latch onto whatever this dude says.
