The way it’s explained to me was the press was the mantle of truth. The group to bring that truth to the people. The politicians, as I explained above, always lie, will always spin. Remember: If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor?

That's simply not true...I'm not going to go back and sift through every "linked reference" you've posted recently but I do recall a few of those links were disproved by others and so they did in fact, not "validate" your claim.

You've dug quite a deep hole for yourself....again, this is how it appears from my end and from reading the replies, it seems there are others who see it the same way.

@SlyPokerDog from your link, it shows the government owning stock until it was paid back. Also states the grant only applies to those still on the payroll. So if it isn’t used for payroll, it turns into a loan.

Later Tuesday, Southwest Airlines Co.US:LUV said it anticipated getting $2.3 billion in direct payroll support and a nearly $1 billion unsecured term loan that’s expected to include 2.6 million warrants issued to the Treasury Department.

The republicans in the Senate probably had it st $5 billion free money before the Dems cut it back, changing $1.5 billion to loans

Enemy of the people has been explained multiple times by me. I’ve always said, “Reporting a narrative instead of news.” Sharing their links so the left will actually read it doesn’t go against that.

That goes without saying, but I couldn’t help myself. The major difference is that in option 1 he likely gets re-elected and in 2 he’s out on his butt. I think the COVID response has become THE issue of the 2020 election.

Because there's are MANY more sources other than just FOX and CNN which are both extreme and neither should be necessarily taken as gospel.

If we condemn the media as a whole, where do we get our info from?...Trump/Pelosi news conferences?...Twitter?...Facebook?

Lol, I’m not saying there shouldn’t be news outlets. I’m saying they must change their entire model. Main culprits are main stream media outlets. You can still get news from your local area. :dunno:

But trying to explain something to someone doesn't by default, mean they will buy into it. Your claim is an indictment on "the media as a whole" and I will not "buy into it".

The good thing is I don’t require you or anyone else to buy it. My disdain for the media (msm) is my God given right. I went back and looked if I ever told you to “buy into it.” I see nothing :dunno:

Trump also made empty promises about health care. Seems like you should be in love with the 2018 Democratic House winners, considering that. Or, to put in your words, you should be "liking what you're seeing."

Wasn’t his major policy platform. Also, as any policy, it must be passed in congress so.... I guess we’ll see in less than 8 months right?

I don't know anybody who has claimed the president or governors can "force people to stay indoors". Nobody is arguing that everybody should be under house arrest. That's a red herring

I also can't recall any claims that the current stay at home orders are unconstitutional. Some people really don't like the orders, but there's strong legal precedent affirming the constitutionality. If a stay at home order highly arbitrary and extremely broad, there is a legal avenue to challenge it. But I haven't evidence that any stay at home order fits that description. Michigan's might have some really weird provisions but I'm not sure if there's some right-wing fake news at work there or not
