Jan 4, 2019 = 1.2 years ago. I can find a more recent one for you if you like. The trump admin’s greatest gain was in 2019. A more recent article will only validate it more.

do more reading. Try and find sources that don’t go with your preconceived agenda.

the rust belt manufacturing jobs are not happy with Trump

I did enjoy them playing the media completely contradicting themselves in the press briefing. Watching their vitriolic response was so pleasing to watch.

seems like he would rather get in a dick measuring contest during a pandemic briefing.

A wise man should have told him, getting in pissing matches with the press is a pointless endeavor because it’s a lose lose situation.

But he’s a basket case so he’ll never come to grips with that reality

I can provide many, but the most recent was when CNN changed headlines when the Democrats blocked the vote in Senate. I’ll tell you what. When I get free time. I will put together why I think the media is the enemy of the people. It will take a couple days, but I will provide links, picture examples and media clips. Deal?

Not really interested. You want to blame the media and use the media also. weird.

Trump is the wrecking ball I want to destroy the media. The more he attacks them, the more I love him. There’s a lot of collateral damage though, but the end of the media’s stranglehold on public opinion will make this country great again. Both sides will want to work together. The public will use their own minds again.

That's the most bizarre fantasy I've seen posted on here. What shred of evidence do you have that that is happening or going to happen?

Both sides will want to work together? WTF? And you think this will be achieved by extreme partisanship and divisiveness?

This is akin to 'we had to destroy the village in order to save it'.

Agree:
1.) lowering regulations
2.) allow charter schooling
3.) bringing back manufacturing
4.) Stop shipping out jobs so corporations can have a better bottom line.
5.) Improve infrastructure
6.) lower presence around the world (stop using our tax dollars for endless wars).
7.) Border Security
There are others, but those are the biggest policies I support.

1. He definitely has done that, so that's a 'win'
2. This was already allowed before Trump
3. manufacturing has declined under Trump
4. offshoring has not stopped under Trump
5. Nothing has been done about infrastructure, despite multiple 'infrastructure weeks'
6. Endless wars are still endless
7. I guess if mistreating migrants makes you feel more secure, count this one as a win

More like destroying a broken foundation and pouring a new one.

what evidence? Hey, who’s your President?

we will soon find out if the public want to keep this going. When the Republicans win the house and presidency, I guess you’ll come in and crow? I’ll crow if it doesn’t happen.

Wrong... https://www.forbes.com/sites/chuckd...-over-obama-what-states-are-hot/#1d6a36562677

Even with the virus, it’s 170% increase. They shared the April 3, 2020 labor stats for reference.

I’m watching the briefing. I’ll get back to you

what briefing? This was suppose to be a briefing on the coronavirus not a ploitcal rally to slam the media the democrats and anything else that trump likes to battle with. Is that really a sign of a leader that is trying to bring the country together? No, he just keeps separating it further

I'm trying to figure out how the vagaries of this epidemic are going to play out:

1. Trump pushes for starting the economy. States that do have an economic rebound. Covid turns out to be seasonal and Trump comes up smelling like roses takes a victory bow and blames the Democrats and fake media for keeping other parts of the country down.

2. Trump pushes for starting the economy. Republican states fall in line and begin a tepid recovery. Covid starts erupting there again because of ending the social distancing too soon. The epidemic spreads all over again. Trump blames the Democrats and the fake media.

what evidence? Hey, who’s your President?

That response makes no sense. You said (paraphrasing) that Trump would destroy the media and thus usher in a new era of unity.

I asked what the evidence for that is, and your response is that Trump is president?

I think we can all agree Trump is president. That fact isn't sufficient to support your fantasies about the outcome of his presidency.

we will soon find out if the public want to keep this going. When the Republicans win the house and presidency, I guess you’ll come in and crow? I’ll crow if it doesn’t happen.
Why would I crow if the Republicans win the house & presidency? I'll be disappointed if that happens.

There is a briefing. If the reporters don’t want to ask questions pertaining to covid-19, then that’s on them. I watched Dr Birx explain a lot. I also saw why a beach in a county can open their beach because she has confidence their health director.

The usher of new unity will be a Democrat leadership lost and must work with the right to get their policies through. But, I was talking more after 2025. :)

Oh, is it infrastructure week again?

So much infrastructure! You'll get tired of infrastructure!

Apparently it's shark week

uh, the first 15 minutes or so there was no opportunity to ask questions. It was another political opportunity for donnie do little.and as we have seen in the past, when the question time comes he often deflects (ooops, there's that word you often do but don't like) if it's a question he doesn't like. He spent more time pointing the finger than actually discussing the coronavirus.

Those reporters could of asked questions to any of them up there. In fact, two did. So it’s Trump’s fault that their questioning is always directed to him?

Just makes me GrrrrrrrrRRrrrrRr. When I’ve been going to the store, those gloves and masks are all over the parking lot. Wtf

Didn't you hear? Trump is getting rid of regulations. Litter is great again!

It seems like if Trump was moving the country towards Republican control he would not have lost the House in 2018. So even if what you meant by 'unity' was 'Republicans win all the elections', he's a failure.

Germany’s largest paper to China's president: You're endangering the worl
"You [Jinping], your government and your scientists had to know long ago that coronavirus is highly infectious, but you left the world in the dark about it."
450899

BERLIN - The editor-in-chief of Germany’s largest paper Bild on Thursday launched a full-frontal attack on China’s communist president Xi Jinping for his regime’s failure to come clean about the coronavirus outbreak and the massive human rights violations carried out by the communist party.

Julian Reichelt, the prominent editor-in-chief of the Bild, wrote to Jinping that “Your embassy in Berlin has addressed me in an open letter because we asked in our newspaper Bild whether China should pay for the massive economic damage the coronavirus is inflicting worldwide.”

He wrote that, "You [Jinping], your government and your scientists had to know long ago that coronavirus is highly infectious, but you left the world in the dark about it. Your top experts didn't respond when Western researchers asked to know what was going on in Wuhan. You were too proud and too nationalistic to tell the truth, which you felt was a national disgrace.”

Reichelt said “ You rule by surveillance. You wouldn't be president without surveillance. You monitor everything, every citizen, but you refuse to monitor the diseased wet markets in your country. You shut down every newspaper and website that is critical of your rule, but not the stalls where bat soup is sold. You are not only monitoring your people, you are endangering them – and with them, the rest of the world.”He continued with his bill of particulars, noting that “surveillance is a denial of freedom. And a nation that is not free, is not creative. A nation that is not innovative, does not invent anything . This is why you have made your country the world champion in intellectual property theft.China enriches itself with the inventions of others, instead of inventing on its own. The reason China does not innovate and invent is that you don't let the young people in your country think freely. China’s greatest export hit (that nobody wanted to have, but which has nevertheless gone around the world) is coronavirus.”

The spokeswoman for China’s embassy, Tao Lil, published an open letter in German on the embassy's website to Bild on Wednesday, stating “I followed your reporting on the corona pandemic in general and China's alleged guilt in particular today. Apart from the fact that we consider it a pretty bad style to blame a country for a pandemic that is affecting the whole world and then to present an explicit account of alleged Chinese debts to Germany, the article ignores some essential ones facts.”

We can play that game with the Obama Administration. He lost the super majority during the midterms. Lost even more after his second election. :dunno:

Just makes me GrrrrrrrrRRrrrrRr. When I’ve been going to the store, those gloves and masks are all over the parking lot. Wtf

I agree, people need to throw that shit away. They have trash cans in the parking lot
