I think that general statement was lazy and misinformed. What you feel and what is fact are two entirely different things. I can name multiple policies that Trump was a part of that were directed to revitalize Urban areas. Things he did for a voting block that only voted 7% in favor of him.

How so?

The virus is not going to go away. There will be a second wave and probably a third wave. With how infectious the virus is, it will circle the globe several time over. What we're doing right now is not sustainable.

Sweden's approach is the most sensible to me. They haven't completely destroyed their economy - but are trying to take a sensible approach to minimizing spread. When I look at their numbers compared to other countries, they appear to be in the middle of the pack... which really makes me question whether this lock-down is doing any good or if we would've seen the same 'flattening of the curve' if we'd implemented Sweden's approach.

To be fair say you have a degree, you’re educated you were working for 75k+ a year doing what you wanted to do its quite a leap to say now you take job for 40k, doing something you dont want too. I look just south and west on the map and there is Belgium, slightly smaller. Been in lockdown and extending the lockdown. They are in worse shape than Sweden.

I'm sorry, But when a President comes to address the nation, I don't need him having a national prayer for those who lost their lives. Where then do we draw the line? Thousands of lives are lost every day to non corona. Are they valued less? Why dont we stop and break and pray for them too? By this logic, he should be doing nothing but having prayer meeting press conferences....

as far as trump goes, one briefing is just like the other. Keeps saying basically the same thing and seldom ever gives any useful day=ta going forward. Watch Coumo and how he talks to the people.
