I use to make homemade ice cream all the time. I'd make vanilla and add chopped fresh peaches. After it was firm, I'd harden it in the freezer. When I was a kid, I loved swimming and riding my bike more than anything in the world but I'd drop my bike and cancel a trip to the lake if grandma would take me to the ice cream store.
Now, I have to limit my ice cream to about once or twice a month for medicinal reasons.
I make a homemade banana sorbet with frozen bananas and raw organic carob powder using my Slowstar Juicer homogenizing attachment.
Tastes a bit like ice cream with out the dairy.
I will also add almond pulp for flavor.
