it's a safe assumption that Dame doesn't think Cronin can make win-now moves. It may even be that Dame believes Cronin never had an intention of making win-now moves even though he kept saying he did, and that's a big part of why there appears to be bad blood in the relationship...or lack of

but I think it's safe to say that Dame probably views Jody & the Vulcans in a negative light. Their penny-pinching over the last few seasons has to have been noticed

And yet, no one else has been willing to seriously engage the Blazers on a deal outside of the Heat. The aggressive posturing being performed by Dame’s representation has been successful in that regard.

The Celtics aren’t including Jaylen Brown. The Nets aren’t including Mikal Bridges and can’t include Cam Johnson after signing him to an extension. Blue-chip prospects are not being floated for Lillard, which might prompt a change in approach from Portland.

So this will go on. Typically, I’d be surprised if it made it to training camp, but in recent years, we’ve seen players enter camp with their same team more consistently after trade demands.

I'm sorry, Nate, but this is absolute nonsense. But you might just be setting the stage for when Cronin inevitably gives Dame up for garbage parts so you can defend him.

I'd be willing to bet my every dollar that Boston would trade Brown for Dame. There's a reason why Boston hasn't extended him.

Just because you haven't heard from the Action Network, whatever that is, doesn't mean there hasn't been good offers for Dame.

The most likely of scenarios is that Cronin HAS had decent offers, that's why he can't in good faith give Dame to Miami for inferior packages.
