There is also potential for a playoff run.No....no value loss. But potential developmental loss.
Who knows?

I'm excited to see what Scoot can do as the leader of this team tbh. That's what's great about being a Blazer fan. We're starting off the season disappointed.
Just to clarify, the only way that Miami would be the only choice, is if Mr. Lillard was about to become a FA. He's under contract, therefore there are many options. If Miami is the only option (very possible this summer) than that’s exactly what we would get. Perhaps I should have said pennies for the Dolla.

Mixum wasn't even bad compared to what goes on now.
Nobody has picked up the report from a Miami writer that there’s rumblings Portland doesn’t plan on trading dame at all?
Slackin
Sam Vecenie is doing a live podcast any minute to talk about Dame stuff
"Miami makes the most sense." Ugg
Meh. A few issues.I was listening to Vecenie and it's funny because I was in the middle of constructing this trade while he started discussing this possibility. Would you do it? Fuck ton of picks.
Edit - nevermind.... Philly doesn't own hardly any of their picks. I think this is the best they can do.

For real? Or Sarcasm?Yeah...... depressing.
They ran through every single team. And these guys are extremely unbiased.
Um...duh? Are you being willfully obtuse? Nobody is suggesting we intentionally turn down great value deals for Dame and wait for mid-season or the end of next season to trade Dame. Well, except maybe Tykendo. Almost everyone else is suggesting that we wait until we get proper value to trade Dame, with a few seeming to suggest that we hurry things up to protect the locker room and/or to speed up Scoot's development. Ergo, the only reason we would wait to trade Dame, is if we weren't getting proper value. Thus flowing from that, I said "Sure but which matters more, a partial loss of development of Sharpe and Scoot...or getting pennies on the dollar for the most important trade in franchise history since Drexler?" which is a counter to your concern about development being a reason to trade Dame sooner. I'm saying, I am more than willing to risk a bit of development loss to ensure we get the best possible value for Dame.Just to clarify, the only way that Miami would be the only choice, is if Mr. Lillard was about to become a FA. I feel it's safe to say you and I will have have great conversations on this board. Let's recap...Um...duh? Are you being willfully obtuse? Then you ask if I'm being obtuse. Let's just say we don't communicate well. Best of luck to you fellow Blazer fan....
Orlando Robinson is so bad, you guys. I'm telling you.Wow! Orlando Robinson! He may almost be as good as Drew Eubanks!
Everybody, please stop getting excited about the flotsam on the M'eat roster. They have absolute crap to offer. They only look halfway decent because the system is good in Miami and we're so f***ing terrible.
I feel it's safe to say you and I will have have great conversations on this board. Let's recap...
You - Quoted a line I wrote in a convo with someone else, "No....no value loss. But potential developmental loss." You replied, "Sure but which matters more, a partial loss of development of Sharpe and Scoot...or getting pennies on the dollar for the most important trade in franchise history since Drexler?
I have not seen someone saying this would happen nor that they hoped it would happen. So it is either a strawman argument, or to use your word, it is a great example of being obtuse.
Me - I asked who said "pennies on the dollar", and you replied, "If Miami is the only option (very possible this summer) than that’s exactly what we would get.". I responded that the only way Miami is the only option, is "if Mr. Lillard was about to become a FA. He's under contract, therefore there are many options."
Then you ask if I'm being obtuse. Let's just say we don't communicate well. Best of luck to you fellow Blazer fan....

304 mill for a guy who can't dribble.
Unbelievable.
So to clarify, that would be Boucher/Young/Porter/Dick/Achiuwa/Koloko for Dame? As good as that top-8 would probably be, I don't see them completely gutting their bench depth for Dame, especially since they'd also be hard-capped.They had one proposed idea I was intrigued with and that was Dame to Toronto with the Raptors giving up very little from their rotation. And yet I still liked it better than the Miami deal. I would rather have Gradey and Precious than JJjr and Jovic
I see no reason why Toronto/Dame would not want to do it. They would be a top 3 team in the east with Dame Trent, OG, Siakam, Poeltl, Barnes, Schroeder, Daniels
A lot of filler in the deal that would probably be cut, but I would want to keep Boucher and Koloko as well.

You and me both. Had Dame asked out last year, we’re staring at an unknown Shaedon Sharpe and…what else? This year, even with Dame gone, we have our future backcourt in place for the next 6+ years. Dame is going to fetch probably 4 1sts, one of which will be the 2023 MIA 1st.Personally, I'm excited.

Next summer, we’ll have Shaedon going into year 3, Scoot going into year 2, probably 2 1sts—1 lotto, and a bunch of cap space.
If we find our next big man in the draft and overpay for someone like OG for say 3 yrs/$130m, we’re possibly looking at competing for a play-in spot assuming internal improvement happens with the backcourt, other young guys on the roster, etc.
It’s going to be exciting to see this backcourt grow.
Of course! Wonder if 76's would: giving up Harden, Maxey and a FRP for Lillard?I was listening to Vecenie and it's funny because I was in the middle of constructing this trade while he started discussing this possibility. Would you do it? Fuck ton of picks.

Ticks the boxes for Lillard, for Miami or for Portland?"Miami makes the most sense." Ugg
"Miami ticks all the boxes other teams don't."
Ticks the boxes for Lillard, for Miami or for Portland?
If they want to keep Embiid happy they better do something. Harden is a negative value right now. Morey said that he wanted the assets from a harden trade to get a star. So I would think yes.Of course! Wonder if 76's would: giving up Harden, Maxey and a FRP for Lillard?
