Looks like it was just false reporting by Shams that Dame won’t report to camp for anyone other than Portland and Miami like many speculated.

Reported by Fentress so take it for what it’s worth.

In other words, Shams was making stuff up yesterday.

Or he wasn't making stuff up but Dame's camp realized it would get them in trouble and told Fentress

Too true. Credibility no longer matters. clicks matter. This site from what I have seen, has never stopped reposting someone's sports takes because of their lack of credibility. And that is probably a good indication of what goes on everywhere. As long as folks continue to repost whatever the hell someone sprays out their ***, they will write whatever gets that done.
 
Lillard not yet traded goes to training camp and plays.
Lillard traded will play for that team.

If the Blazers flat out tell him that Miami’s offer isn’t acceptable — and what they’ve offered … and there will be no trade with them, then it gets interesting.

If Miami cannot or will not pony up, that’s on them.

I don't know. Are there any past instances where a star got trade to a club that wasn't his first choice and then didn't perform?

I've seen a bunch of Heat fans upset that they didn't just trade for Beal who was given up for like...nothing.
