Exactly what I was thinking as soon as I saw that tweet.I love Dame, love the guy but the league needs to call him up and either get him to publicly refute this report or fine him big. The league can't make the statement they did earlier and then let a report like this go unchecked. I'm also a big player empowerment guy but undercutting all options but one for your team after a trade request when you're under contract for four more seasons has to be dealt with.
In other words, Shams was making stuff up yesterday.Looks like it was just false reporting by Shams that Dame won’t report to camp for anyone other than Portland and Miami like many speculated.
Reported by Fentress so take it for what it’s worth.
Too true. Credibility no longer matters. clicks matter. This site from what I have seen, has never stopped reposting someone's sports takes because of their lack of credibility. And that is probably a good indication of what goes on everywhere. As long as folks continue to repost whatever the hell someone sprays out their ***, they will write whatever gets that done.over the last 3 years, Shams has yanked a bazooka out of his gun cabinet and blown his own credibility away
I just heard that Aaron Fentress is on SXM NBA RADIO right now if anyone cares.
No..the guys who do are Chris Hayes and Mark Spears (Spears is an Oakland guy)Does Fentress have inside info on Dame-related matters?
He really wants you to think he does.Does Fentress have inside info on Dame-related matters?
Honestly think he has a bitHe really wants you to think he does.
Ikr, I mean, to make such statement, refuting a national journalist in Shams, he must have inside info (instructions from Goodwin)He really wants you to think he does.
And Dame just might say fuck it, I'll stay here and re-energize the franchise.Lillard not yet traded goes to training camp and plays.
Lillard traded will play for that team.
If the Blazers flat out tell him that Miami’s offer isn’t acceptable — and what they’ve offered … and there will be no trade with them, then it gets interesting.
If Miami cannot or will not pony up, that’s on them.
I think they really value Martin.Miami is realizing they might not trade with Portland and want to save face with some players.
Don't like Fentress' addon: "but would an NBA team risk giving up major assets for what would be an unhappy point guard owed $216 million?"
I've really come to hate this guy Fentress.
I don't know. Are there any past instances where a star got trade to a club that wasn't his first choice and then didn't perform?Fentress is a terrible journalist and a human dipstick
but that question is logical

Kawhi only bought the raps one chip then bolted.
Better than leaving them with none. He was always a rental.
Didn't he just have one year on his contract? Lillard should be a better option, he's tied up.Kawhi only bought the raps one chip then bolted.
I've seen a bunch of Heat fans upset that they didn't just trade for Beal who was given up for like...nothing.Lillard not yet traded goes to training camp and plays.

Aldridge talks a little about Damian. Says Lillard wanting out must be tough, and Dame must have got pushed to a breaking point.
the Lillard question to LaMarcus is at 14:20
