I said I was gone until news -- this is news -- Great Day to be a Blazers fan and if your not happy then -- Whatever I do not care
Go Blazers and FUCK ya - -Dame is back
We got Mil picks, Camara, Deni, Jrue and Dame for Dame/SimonsI think it's safe to say we won the Bucks deal
Will he be able to play at all this year?
And RW3We got Mil picks, Camara, Deni, Jrue and Dame for Dame/Simons
Las Vegas Kings is my guess.Sometime during the March Madness, towards the end of the regular season,
If we are not even in the playin, no reason for Dame to play even if healthy, just continue to rehab
If we are surprisingly in playoff contention, no reason for Dame to play even if healthy, because why rock the boat at that point
So yeah, he will likely not play in 25-26, He will be available to play in 26-27, and he can pick to stay here or go elsewhere in 27-28 due to player option
We really only get him for one year guaranteed (26-27) By then who knows if we're the Seattle Superblazers or Trailsonics or Las Vegas Trailblazers
Can any cap expert weigh in?Portland is reportedly already hard-capped. This is probably for the MLE and puts them in a worse cap space.
I would hope that was part of the conversation.Does anyone think Dame won't want to start when he comes back?
And RW3
Does anyone think Dame won't want to start when he comes back?
Yeah, funny as in awesome! It would be funny to have Dame/Jrue/Grant coming off the bench in the 2026-2027 season.
So the hope is Scoot makes the jump this season and we trade Jrue in the offseason?
Cronin deserves a lot of apologies tbhI think it's safe to say we won the Bucks deal
Bs. Team is clearly committed to him. Getting Dame and Jrue only solidifies that.Or we trade Scoot. I don't think Scoot has shown nearly enough to be made a core piece moving forward. This will be a big year for him.
I generally agree, but would go even further... I personally don't like this move. Not thrilled with the price. He is getting his full max deal from the Bucks and could have signed with the Blazers for the minimum and would still be getting all his money. Portland is reportedly already hard-capped. This is probably for the MLE and puts them in a worse cap space.
I also don't like the no-trade clause. That will hamstring Portland down the road.
Nice to have him back, but not in this way.
Or we trade Scoot. I don't think Scoot has shown nearly enough to be made a core piece moving forward. This will be a big year for him.
I'll be concerned if he doesn't want to start. I hope he wants to start.Does anyone think Dame won't want to start when he comes back?
Signed in to say "fuck yeah, y'all!!!"
Surprised, not surprised by all the negative nancies up in this joint.
Be happy! We ended up with ALL the loot!
You don't know how this works: Cronin is at fault when things go wrong and lucked into anything that went right!Cronin deserves a lot of apologies tbh
