As big of a Dame fan as I am -- if this is true then shame on Dame but to be fair besides the Blazers thing his marriage was going sideways too so I will give him a little leeway but still not good.

The whole idea was not getting any sort of injury before the trade was final. Not because dame didn't want to work out. The trade issue took way longer than most expected.

I'm thinking the 2027 trade deadline will be the time to look at acquiring old man Lillard on an expiring deal. Will be interesting the summer prior in 2026 to see what expiring contracts the Blazers have, currently there are none.

IDK? Pretty good defender that can cover 1-5 and has the ability to score. Doesn't need to board much with that roster. He's willing to be the second or third option on the floor. Seems like a great fit?
