He had 20 attempts twice, and 18 twice. He’s had 17 twice previouslyDid Dame ever get to the line 17 times in a game as a Blazer?
You said (And I quote)Every time they took the ball away from Dame, which was in the first quarter when I posted that, the third and part of the fourth… the Sixers went on a run and almost won the game. When they gave the ball to Dame in the second quarter and the end of the fourth, he dominated.
Bucks have no idea how to use Dame. He’s hardly ever on ball. They have turned him into a spot up shooter. It’s like watching Scoot last night lol.
This is a very long way of saying “Nyah Nyah Nyah you were wrong neener neener neener” but it isn’t any nicer. You said (And I quote)
Then he was used in multiple ways to defeat one of the best teams in the league scoring 39 points with 8 rebounds 4 assists all while shooting 17 of 17 from the free throw line in just over 37 mins.
he did this from what i counted was 6 or 7 different looks with multiple screeners and on course vintage Dame time create his own space three that pretty much sealed the victory as well as the last driving layup that he was fouled on to ice the game at the free throw line.
I would assume from this game that they do indeed have an idea how to use Dame and from what i watched he was much more effective with the ball in his hands. I never once got the feel that it was anything at all like watching Scoot last night.
Thus the statement " This aged well".
So he didn't say he wanted to be in Miami?Sorry that is false. At least if you take his word for it. Maybe you would prefer to take someone else's word for it but I prefer to believe what he actually says.
Agreed. This is a very long way of saying “Nyah Nyah Nyah you were wrong neener neener neener” but it isn’t any nicer.
So he didn't say he wanted to win a championship here?So he didn't say he wanted to be in Miami?

Don’t worry. We will all enjoy watching the youngsters lose and the lottery when the season is done.
But you said I was taking someone else's word. I took his. He asked out. Now he's gone. Move on. Or continue to complain I guess. So he didn't say he wanted to win a championship here?
We can do this all night but I will not. So lets just leave it at that shall we?
I was just reading posts on Twitter and it's crazy. The entire NBA fanbase watched him light up the Sixers and they seem to be really happy he did.I'm only replying to this cause Aldo liked it and I laugh because this is what he's wanted for years and now he's gonna bitch about this. Lmaaaao.
Now that every journalist isnt begging him to leave Portland every second he’s on camera (like they’ve been doing since 2020) they can focus on giving him a bunch of great press.I was just reading posts on Twitter and it's crazy. No you don't get to change the conversation. My original statement was about watching youngsters lose. We don't get to move on from that. This is what you originally confronted me about. But you said I was taking someone else's word. I took his. He asked out. Now he's gone. Move on. Or continue to complain I guess.
Sad but true. Now that every journalist isnt begging him to leave Portland every second he’s on camera (like they’ve been doing since 2020) they can focus on giving him a bunch of great press.
Sigh.... Who's gonna tell him?Dame in the 1st and 3rd quarters -
8 points off 2-6 shooting, 3 assists, 4 rebounds, 4-4 from the line.
Dame in the 2nd and 4th quarters -
31 points off 7-14 shooting, 1 assist, 4 boards, 13-13 from the line.
They had Dame largely playing off the ball in the 1st and 3rd quarters. They had Dame being Dame in the 2nd and 4th quarters. Dame needs the ball in his hands.
Sigh.... Who's gonna tell him?
Cool. He's gone.No you don't get to change the conversation. My original statement was about watching youngsters lose. We don't get to move on from that. This is what you originally confronted me about.
I do not and have never felt they needed to tank. That has been my stance for years. The unwillingness of this franchise after Paul Allen passed away to spend the money to win has been well documented.
That was not a comment about dame leaving or not. You made that not I.

But this is where we're at. The person who is at fault is no longer here and pretty much everyone is happy about that.No you don't get to change the conversation. You meant rocketI agree. Furthermore, he'll pull a Drexler and go into the HoF as a Buck.

Did you notice that Philly went on a run during those stretches? Did you notice that they very nearly lost the game?
Philli was on the run when Dame was on the run, or opposite?
As @Natebishop3 pointed out, Dame was playing off-ball with the starters. For some reason, Coach Griffin doesn't actually want Dame running the offense yet.Interesting factoid from last night’s game: Lillard had only 4 assists. The media hype around the trade was all about how the give-and-go from Lillard to Giannis would be so deadly, and yet there was very little of that in their first game together. I’m a little surprised that Lillard didn’t look for Giannis a little harder. As we all know, Dame Time is great when it’s working, but not so great when it’s not.
As I was posting earlier, for much of the game when they were in at the same time, Dame wasn’t bringing the ball up the court. They had Giannis and Middleton doing that. Dame would just go sit on the three point line. They barely ran pick and rolls.Interesting factoid from last night’s game: Lillard had only 4 assists.
