If they want scoot to be the starter at pg then I do see another trade with jrue going somewhere else. But I wouldn't be mad if they keep him either especially he hell premeter defense type of guard. Ayton I like since college so to me it's a good trade to me. The guys that was since out except for Dame wasn't doing for me.

Yeah, I think this is a solid B to B- trade for Cronin. He had to maneuver around a lot of mines but all things considered this is a pretty good haul. And we fucked Miami and their entitled (but never shows up to games) fan base!
 
I kinda love this trade in that Dame gets a ring on a team I can gladly root for, next to one of my other favorite players and Miami is blocked from winning for all of Butler's prime. That last part is truly glorious as is trolling Heat fans today. Hard to put a price on that but I think 3 FRP's is about right.

It's not that he's unappreciated, it's that he's 34 years old and we're on the hook for him for $70MM over the next two years.

Exactly. I can cheer for Dame. I wouldnt have been able to at all if he was in Miami. But Milwuakee? Theres some solidarity with them. Love it all the way around. And the trade, commiserate with Dames huge fucking money, is good.

Not only that, for a Bucks competitor, he's a Dame stopper from a championship Milwaukee team that you have to play against to get to the Finals.

If im reading right, we get the higher of the two picks of that year and they take the lowest.

And Milwaukee is one of the smallest markets.

Seeing people calling out other posters who strung this along for the heat. I think a lot of them were over this just like a lot of us were. Therefore some seem to be just glad that it is over with, with some understandable displeasure that they ended up having no involvement whatsoever.

A lot of people bashing Pat Riley… How can you clown Pat Riley as a Heat fan when he’s done what he’s done for the franchise…
