I really don't like the Olympic stuff. Dame is fresh off a season where he played in every game and averaged 38.6 mpg. Dude needs to rest.

Do you really think it is going to be any different then him scrimmaging all day with other players from various teams all off-season to get better for next year?

I could see if he was actually going to the Olympics or something.

The minicamp doesn't necessarily bother me, I'm just wary of him getting involved in the Olympics right now.

On the bright side, this will give him access to some of the top players to recruit

Aside from the concern of injuries (KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!!!) I think its great. One it gives him very good competition to go up against the up and coming younger guys and two it gives him more exposure which will only help with recruiting and whistles.

Yeah the mini camp is only 4 days in July. It's all good.

I know hes young, but dude just played the most minutes in the league

I understand the concern but at the same time if a 4 day camp 3 months from now pushes him over the edge then there were bigger problems there

The young guys that get invites take some major strides in their game after coming out of the camp.
