didnt realize he was the #1 cb recruit in the nation! wow, he is something else

thanks

I dont like taking DaT out of the offense to play a position that we really haven't seen him in. If we have to we have to but im not going to be happy about it.

doesnt make me nervous at all, the guy is a beast, he could just as easily get injured getting smashed by 300 lb linemen

Yes he could, but this doubles the chances. Playing on both sides of the ball opens him up to a bigger chance of injuries.

so does being the gunner on the punt team

let these guys play, if they get injured, shit happens, its fucking football for gods sake

and truthfully at this point, it looks like he has more value to the team at cb anyways, assuming barner and marshall continue to get most of the carries

Hey if they wont kick to DAT might as well let him intercept the ball and run it back huh? DAT can lay paint too!

news flash... he's a tremendous talent that we're lucky to root for. His football smarts, agility and explosiveness make it easy to project him as a dominant Darrell Green type at CB. Quite a few feel thats where he physically projects best in the League

if thats where he and the coaches feel his efforts are best utilized this next weekend then I'm just going to have to endure seeing what he can do there too. Oh darn...

not sure why you quoted me but that is more or less exactly what i typed! go dat!

Any more word on whether this is an actual possibility?

I know DAT was recruited to be a game-changer on offense - but you need playmakers on both sides of the ball.

If I were DAT, I'd really consider moving to DB permanently for the sake of my career. I think he has the potential to earn a much bigger check as a shutdown corner than as a 3rd down back and return specialist.

my fingers are crossed that Troy Hill and Dior Mathis will be back this next week to bolster the DBs and DAT can stay on O

This.

If DAT or any of the other offensive players end up having to go to defense, that means we are so thin on D that Chip is desperate.
