I look at shooting percentages to determine who's a better shooter. eFG% gets that wrong more times than it gets it right. To me, it's less than useless, it's misleading.

What makes you think Kawhi would even want to take a 5 year deal when he could take a shorter deal and get to the 10+ years of service line faster and make 35% of a higher cap in a couple years. Talking about a 5 year deal in comparison to a 4 year deal for a star player is completely ignoring what that player would make in the 5th year on another team. The only way he would accept a 5 year deal for $190 million to stay somewhere he doesn't want to be is if he is truly hurt in a career threatening way in which case why would Toronto or Portland or anyone else offer him $190 million? This is why you aren't making any sense.
