Forum Game Does one person's vaccine decision affect others?

Not really interested in entertaining the “scientific” (borderline religious and cult-like at this point) dogma where people’s only argument seems to be “it’s science, don’t you believe in science?!” and any questioning of the gospel is met with illogical shaming rather than facts. The average person doesn’t go along with lockdowns, experimental (yes, experimental) vaccines, and illogical mask mandates because they are super smart and understand science. They do it because they see other people doing it and don’t want to raise a fuss. That’s why you see people riding a bike or driving around alone with a fucking mask on. Yeah, science right? Or they just want their lives back, or their business not to close down, or a job so they can have a place to live. Or if you’re in Europe, Canada or Australia, they don’t want to get their head kicked in by the authorities.

Oh you don’t like the science argument? Ok. Then this will be tough to explain. Because it’s uh science. As for masks when biking, I assume 99% of the time people just forget. I have gotten in my car and left the grocery store with a mask on. It’s been over a year. People forget. Anyway. Don’t get the vaccine. Let the rest of us end this for you.

Who the fuck cares if other people choose to wear a mask doing whatever activity they want to do? I found myself wearing mine a lot in situations where I didn't need one during the winter because it kept my face warm and toasty when it was cold. If you don't want to wear one then you can answer to that but to make fun of people or say they are followers because they have the decency to care about other people and not be a selfish prick is ludicrous to me.

Here is the key too. Even if it isnt about health.

If one hates the masks and wants us to get rid of them, wear them. It will help us all get rid of them sooner.

Im not gonna lie, I have my doubts about how effective the masks actually are, but dammit, if we want to ever get past them, were all gonna have to unite and sacrifice, or the restrictions will just continue to go on alot further.

So to me its two choices...

1)Buck up and conform to get this past us quickly even if you thin its silly

2)Be defiant and prolong the restrictions.= and force yourself to deal with this even longer.



If we want things opened back up and actively complain about it, then we should just wear the mask. If not, then why complain about the closures and/or restrictions?


Ill tell ya this. If we go into next season and we cant go at full capacity at Blazer games, or still need to wear masks because we haven't hit an acceptable percentage im gonna be pretty damned pissed at those who denied the masks and vaccines and dragged this shit into next season.

Got my oldest 2 their first pfizer shot today... 12 and 14. The 11 year old has just over a month until her birthday, so they wouldn't give it to her.
