I hope they choose Vernon Adams.

Are you his attorney? That would be fun in that it would get me free tix.
Clearly USC didn’t reach out to Oklahoma. Seems par for the course.I find it interesting that according the the Ducks AD, Miami never reached out and asked permission to speak to Mario, even though he was under contract. Seems a little shady to not reach out to the school
Phil Knight is going to make a big offer to Urban Meyer.
He's seems happy there and Baylor would match anything Oregon offered. They have a heck of a program there, new facilities, and they are winning with a young team. I would think Baylor is as good a job as Oregon's.
Hope so!Cristobal seemed happy here too. I think the Nike factor and Phil opening up the pocketbook has big sway.
Michael Jordan has an older brother. Nobody thinks about him either. It doesn’t matter. You will always be our little brother in Eugene.
How so? It seems to me that his team/family/loyalty stuff was just as hollow as Willie's Do Something and Oregon is losing it's recruiting class in the same exact manner. Can't say I wish him well.Well... shades of Taggart and Florida State.... can't blame a guy for wanting to go home to his dream job, and I'd like to say Cristobal left Oregon in a hell of a lot better place than ol' Willy, but the rash of De-Commits are coming, and we'll see what's left after the rubble.

What saved the class when Willie bailed was that they had Mario on staff to offer some continuity. I don't see the same dynamic in place this time, but we shall see...you think most recruits will jump ship?
of course he isThibodeaux just announced he’s sitting out of the Alamo Bowl
you think most recruits will jump ship?

Thibodeaux declaring for the draft. Won’t play in the bowl game.

Don't really blame him.
I don’t blame him either, but it seems we see this happening more often in recent seasons. Kind of takes the shine off of bowl games.
Agree! Recruits are gonna head elsewhere. This is a real bad blow to what was being built by Mario. Wilcox would probably love to be named head coach, but that won't attract 5 stars. Luke Fickell is the guy, if his family is willing to move, that would be my choice. I don't think money is a factor. If it is, be prepared Duck Fans to step back to a by gone era, and that ain't pretty when you see the STUD COACH at USC.yeah, I do. They've already had at least 4 today de-commit
some may just re-open their recruiting and wait for the Feb. NLI date to see what happens at in the coaching search. But they will definitely lose several. And, the transfer portal will probably be pretty busy as well.
now, some of this will depend on what coaches follow MC to Miami. Mirabel definitely will follow. Feld, the strength coach will almost certainly go to. I'd really like if Bobby Williams, the special teams coach, went to Miami as well. Jim Mastro, the RB coach is a possible departure with mario
I heard Thibideaux told teammates he'd play if the Ducks made the playoffs or Rose Bowl, but not anything less
