I think violence and killing as a form of entertainment does affect the culture we are seeing today....my son grew up defending his gaming habits...I'd be out working on my deck and I'd hear my son and his buddies yelling, cursing and enjoying killing those mfers…..I asked them many times if they were planning careers in the the military after school? Honestly I have never been a fan of killing games for children....I never bought my son toy guns as a child...then when he left home he bought two rifles as soon as he could.....I taught him gun safety at that point but personally, I see violence as entertainment to be a formative problem with young people who deal with anxiety or depression or anger.....if you want to address mental health and education...it's part of the conversation. In my view those games add NOTHING of value to a young person's development of life skills.I think adults are affected as well....the rush of violence is primal like the addictions to porno are for some.....for folks with issues it I fear it can awaken their inner caveman unless kept in check.
