I don't really add people. I see a bunch of people I know but unless I tell them in person "HEY, I'LL ADD YOU ON FACEBOOK" I rarely do so.

Unless I was or am a good friend with them, I don't. I take that back, I have become friends with a few people on here.

someone told me some girl from my grade school is doing porn. i gotta find them. haha

its kinda creepy when you're talking with someone and they mention something you put on facebook. a few weeks ago I had to put some family on limited profile view, they found out I ditched hanging out with them and I went and got fucked up at a pool party instead. somehow it got around to my aunts/uncles and my mom too.

Ya, some people have seen some pics I posted that I think I would have rather they had NOT!

I know that people are not being hired for certain jobs because of stuff they had put on their pages!

It must be a mess on the wall when someone has like 1000 friends on there. that's crazy.

I'm an old fart so very few of my friends are on facebook. I have an account just so that I can see what they post, but I will never post anything myself. I think it is a bit creepy, frankly. But then I think tattoos are creepy too. Did I mention I'm an old fart? No? Well, then get the hell off my lawn, punk!

Yeah, its creepy when I see my aunts/uncles on teh facebook. I don't add them even when they request so. Also some people I deal with at work, I won't add. Co-workers..yeah, but people in other places I just keep on linkedin.

I was cool once. But that was the 1970s, and I'm pretty sure at this point I'll never be cool again. Which is fine, because it doesn't seem too important anymore.

My kids are 9 and 5. Still a few years away from that weird problem. My mom and dad are on there and I accepted cause I felt I had to. I just have them on ignore!

I was just told the same thing about someone from my high school, which shouldn't' be surprising since we had a ton of strippers in my class.

See, you're the complete opposite to me. My Facebook page is completely personal, I don't add any colleagues or people related to my job. My profile is completely limited if you aren't my friend just in-case my boss runs across my page. Everyone has inappropriate pictures on their Facebook -- I don't care if you're Mary-fucking-Poppins.

In answer to your question, I have no problems adding people I know. Perhaps it's just because of my age group, but it's a little bit strange if you don't add people you know. Makes you look like a prick.

I have about 30+ family members on Facebook -- It isn't much of a big deal. I just have to make sure I don't get on Facebook after a night of drinking because I know I'll fuck something up, heh. My mum and dad are both on there and they're generally (I use that loosely) pretty with keeping of my sheyat.

I got conned into creating an account, but since I don't have any friends (or acquaintances for that matter) I haven't actually done anything with it ...

"I used to be with it, but then what it was changed. What I was with was no longer it and what was it was strange and disturbing to me."

Me and HCP are totally bros. I add people sometimes, but only if it's someone I actually have a reason to talk to. And then there's HCP.

I hardly ever add anyone. I wait for people to add me. And if it's someone I don't know that is requesting to be added as my friend, I reject the request. But I only have around 12 Facebook friends.

See, I can't relate to this, because every picture on my page is related my family--vacations, weekend activities, birthday parties, etc. Because of this, I have no problem adding coworkers, old classmates, or other people I haven't seen for years. It's a vehicle by which they and I can "catch up" on what's been going on in each others' lives without having the initial awkward "long time no see" conversation. And for the people I do interact with regularly, I personally think it's cool when they mention something they saw on my page, and then I can talk about it. But then again, I'm insecure and self-centered like that.

I bet you I can find a picture of you with a blunt in yo mouf, [insert racist slur]!

Nah, I like it when people bring up Facebook shit in real life. It's basically another part of my life now!

I don't use Facebook much, so I mostly just accept the friend requests when people add me. Once in a while, I'll look at Facebook and see if anyone has posted anything interesting or anything to me, specifically. I mostly just try to keep the personal information (about favourite music, etc) current.

The only time I friend request somebody is if I notice that they have de-friended me.
