I will probably post on Tuesday morning but then I'm gone for two weeks off to Colorado to visit with my daughter & grandson. I know the board will probably be quiet upon my return but I hope the'll be enough interesting topics to continue into the playoff season.

Safe travels Rick. Enjoy your family and the Rocky Mountain high. I'm traveling back to Boston on the 29th, and will pop down to the Jersey shore to see Mom and Dad.

Right back at you Tom, enjoy.

Thanks. Got some great news about Mom's colon cancer battle. The aggressive chemo/rad treatment that almost killed her (23 days in isolation to recover) cleared the cancer from her lymph system and significantly shrunk her primary tumor. Oncologists general don't use adjectives like "miraculous". Surgery at the end of this month and a more targeted chemo post-op and they are putting her in the survivor column.

Dad's lung cancer is spreading, but its being slowed by the kinase inhibitor Tarceva. Merck just got orphan approval for the first in classic anti-PD-1 antibody. Its not labeled for NSCLC yet, but data shows he's a good candidate. Our goal now is to keep him stable until the first FAK inhibitor hits the market. New data shows this target is the key to reversing metastasis. Treatment options continue to improve every day, as long as you have a Cadillac insurance plan.
