I'd wager you're correct. That would be sweet but I'm pretty sure they're not looking to trade Powell.

And we don't need a backup SF. We have Aminu, Harkless, and Turner.
OMG! WHO? Who is out there that is (a) an obvious upgrade and (b) somewhat attainable? We need a quality starting SF.
A 15PPG guy who plays two ways and can handle the ball.

News Flash: there isn't much SF talent in the NBA, and the few good SFs aren't available.
No one proven, but there are guys with that potential, and that's Neil's wheelhouse.
OMG who?
How about Tony Snell?
He plays D, shot over 40% from 3pt, and is stuck behind the greek guy in Milwaukee. His career trajectory seems upward at this point.
So, the guy who is two years older than Harkless, who played the same number of minutes, averaged fewer points, fewer blocks, fewer steals, and fewer rebounds while shooting 5% worse, is a clear upgrade? He has an upward trajectory, and Harkless, despite being younger, does not? He plays better D, despite having a worse DRtg while playing in the little leagues?
Hey - I'm all for bringing in any young SG/SF with promise. Perhaps when all is said and done, Snell turns out to be a much better player than Harkless. But come on. At this point, Snell is - at best - a lateral move. Literally the only thing he's clearly better at is 3-point shooting.

The most attainable player that has the most potential imo is Hezonja. If Orlando is open to moving him (nothing about their offseason suggests otherwise) it's something Neil should explore.
Who is this PF we have that's an upgrade over Henson? Are you saying you want to trade Collins or Biggie for Snell? The Bucks starting PF is John Henson. If we offer them an upgrade, they might do the trade.
Robert Covington is another guy to look at given the logjam in the Sixer front court. He can swing up to PF as well and is really versatile. PHI might be stupid enough to trade him before paying him.

I'd love to trade for him. Again, he's more of a lateral move - but if we weren't trading Harkless for him I think they'd make a good SF rotation. I don't know how attainable he is.
He might be, but I don't think we can say that he's clearly better. Better rebounder. Worse shooter. Played against inferior talent (also played with inferior talent).

Which neither one can shoot worth a damn. And we don't need a backup SF. We have Aminu, Harkless, and Turner.
I think we've seen the player Mo is going to be.
I don't think we've seen the player that Snell is going to be.
Regardless of age.

Ideally, we send out enough salary to get under the LT.
Soooo we've seen that hard push up the court dribbling and finding Collins with a one handed DIME for a dunk?
We've seen that before??
Stop it.
That was a hard push up the court?
Stop it.
One of your more obtuse posts.
None of us have seen him do anything like that before. He was under control, head up, dribbling confidently, and delivered a pass the likes of which we've never seen and you're parsing how hard the push was?
So the new wrinkle in his game is dribbling with his head up and completing a relatively standard bounce pass? You're lowkey dissing your boy.

Pssst, I think your BGD is showing.
