Let’s not forget that he let our best big man prospect walk for nothing (Blevins) - Moses Brown.

I don't get what people think is out there and gettable for us.
Well, if it's true that Nance is available for two first rounders; we could sure unfreeze our draft picks and offer one plus Trent. I think Nance could have an impact like Buck Williams did.

Here comes the excuse train press conference with the only hope of him getting a tough question resting with Jason Quick.

I'm fine with the team standing pat, IF the reason they're standing pat is actually valid. I.e., saying they're happy with the younger players (Simons, Collins, Little, Giles, etc)...but actually follow that up by utilizing their talents.

Otherwise, why bother?

Damn you Olshey for not being able to trade Collins and Trent for Giannis! :biglaugh:
We have no clue what offers we made that got rejected or what crappy offers we received that we rejected.

Giannis?

We're talking about the shit deal that Orlando just accepted for Aaron Gordon.

Acting like they're mad that the team didn't trade Collins and Trent for Giannis is disingenuous, since that's not what people are upset about.

It's the doing nothing while another team improves that they're upset about. it's the "getting CJ and Nurk back is like making a trade" spin that people are upset about. It's about another wasted year of Damians prime that people are upset about. it's about keeping younger players that barely get to play in a game (despite having a player, Hood, who is having a horrible year, getting minutes ahead of them).

NO one expected the team to trade Trent or Collins (or any combo of players that are available off the roster) to get a superstar in return. Just stop.

And I'm saying that as someone who isn't upset they didn't get Gordon.

Given that Flash appears to have been the best player available today, and that it's difficult to see him as much of a needle-mover, my question is why is not making that move enough to make people so pissed?

Fuck neil olshey fire his bum ass. And trade cj and dame and rebuild. AND ALSO FIRE TERRY STOTTS

brilliant. So much thought must have gone into this - probably gonna be one of those 600+ page threads

Neil turned second round pick in Trent into an asset.

I think it's because fans get antsy, and frustrated over a continual middle of the road team.

the Powell trade isn't bad, hopefully he can provide the team with some help.

Is he capable of handling some of the PG duties?

Doubt it given his weight (215 lbs.) I'm hoping that Olshey signs a true backup PG. Give Powell backup minutes at SG and small ball rotations as a three.

Not sure what his weight has to do with ball handling skills.

Powell trade was good, but still upset Denver was able to expel their garbage for Gordon and McGee

Why is everyone upset?

Well let's see..... we traded a guy who we had RFA status on, for someone that we don't. So the likelihood that we gave up Trent for nothing is very possible.

We traded for another guard while we desperately need help at forward.

It's just Neil changing the rims on his shitty Geo Metro with an F1 engine in it.

We own Powell’s Bird rights

The question is: will it be an assest in 4 months?

Powell doesn't make us a contender and if he signs elsewhere this summer, we'll have nothing to show for it.
