They will extend him but are waiting to see what’s the market for him. If they want Kawhi in free agency next year they will need to find a buyer for him during season anyway as Kawhi will want $30million+ and they won’t have it.

For his career, according to bball ref, he's playd 63% of the time at SG, 31% at SF and 6% at PG. He's got a good handle and can create -- it's why people played him at PG. But with his improved shot, I think he can slide over to the wing for most of the time. I like the versatility he provides with his frame at 6'6. Lots of switching on defense with him/ET/Moe/Aminu.
