If we trade Lillard to the Lakers, I'm no longer a Portland Trailblazers fan nor an NBA fan. I'll be done and over with it.
I volunteer to inherit all your Blazer gear if that happens...just sayin'...but your post would've sounded better if you said if Lillard went to the Lakers, you'd move back to Portland

What idiot said they're trading him to LA or even contemplating it?

Laker fans are creamin' themselves at the idea...there's going to be endless Laker chatter with James there now.

twitter is the graffiti on the toilet stall walls of any bus station

It's verbal diarrhea.

Actually, that's not fair. Diarrhea serves a purpose.

Fat Felton found work.

They had a bunch of money to spend the year before even after adding Aminu/Davis, and ended up not using it. But that team was young and rebuilding. If they’d have not spent cap space in 2016, following the surprise year they just had, this message board would have been as pissed as it is right now.

How do you think the fanbase would have reacted to not spending 25+m in cap space?

The current fan reaction to wasting TPEs is...tepid. Why would it have been different then. Blazer suckers always fall for promises of a Golden Future.

All defensive rating is is points allowed per 100 possession when a given player is on the floor. It is not a good indication of individual defense. In fact, it’s much more reflective of the defensive efficiency of the unit that a given player plays most with. It’s no surprise Dame’s defensive rating greatly improved this season, we added Jusuf Nurkic who has proved to be an above average defender at the center position. There are much better analytics out there.

Right. A player's defensive stats are affected by how good of a team he's on. Ball wasn't on a good team, so if he ranks highly, it's even more to his credit.

Yep, he's an excellent defender.

And what proof is that? Maybe you're just not good at evaluating talent withou stats. I use a combo of stats, observation and NBA analysts.
LOL. okay buddy.

Honkicracker you lost me at "lesser version of Ricky Rubio"

I didn't even read the rest of your post. That's hilarious. If you think Lonzo's ceiling is a lesser version of Ricky Rubio you are truly amazing, and should consider comedy immediately.

I'm wondering what it would take to get Larry Nance to Portland. He's a RFA, so Id think Blazers would have to work out a S&T for him.... which would hard cap us

If Lonzo doesn’t learn to shoot he won’t amount to anything. I’ve seen him play quite a bit and he’s not a good defender, he’s an ok rebounder he passes a lot because he knows he can’t shoot, he may someday be an adequate starting pg, and with Lebron he’s going to look good, but I don’t see in him what you seem to.
He’s still young and like most young players with a work ethic many issues can be overcome, so we’ll see, but Dame is far and away a better player than Lonzo and will be for at least 3-4 years.

This is why I don't give people who are on ignore a second chance.
They can't hold an discussion.

Enjoy your blinders.
Being that's the second time I've said it. I don't believe you didn't finish reading the post.
You just can't make a valid counter point. Which is frankly, why you've been on ignore.

Have a nice day banging the Lonzo Ball drum.
Ricky Rubio light is who he is. Which is not a bad NBA player.
But certainly not the center piece behind a trade for a player like Lillard.
