Dwight Jeyens said Portland missing 44 shots tonight and only 4 offensive rebounds. That's horrible!

We really shouldn't have expected anything different

During a major rebuild you can try one of two things, one is load the team with veterans. We tried that with the Felton era and it was a disaster. Even so you’ll often get fast results, but typically there’s limited potential.

The other is to build around a bunch of REALLY young but talented players. It’s more long term and it results in some really bad years but there’s a lot more potential. As frustrating and disappointing as this is it’s the right thing to do in the long term. I'm excited for the lottery to pair Dame with HOPEFULLY a franchise changer if we do our homework really good and get lucky we can find that..

Quite bus ride to the plane....

Sent from my Baller-Ass 5.5" iPhone 6+......... FAMS

Jason Quick say's Noah Vonleh shows more market value in the last 2 games.

Quick also said he sees Lillard's thumbnail starting to grow back a little. Sounds like Damian is Wolverine or something. Does he have a mutant healing factor?

Von playing crunch time minutes and hitting that 3 and key rebound you can see the confinance building.
Wait until next game when Terry rewards him with a seat on the bench as Kaman starts again smh

First it was a snake. Now the old cold water trick. What's next? Liniment on the towels?

We hold LMA to only 6pts but the Spurs still kick our ass.

Oh wait, that happened tonight.

Damn, these Spurs are just mean. Mean I tell you.

I'm all about them lottery balls this year, so I s'pose that makes me "that guy." That's cool, I can take the heat.

When I saw Stotts playing Vonleh key late minutes of the fourth quarter my first though was he must be about lottery balls as well.

I don't think the Spurs have any shot. I really don't think they've got the firepower.

Meyers was shooting pregame.

While driving down there I listened to that scoop pregame thing on CSNNW website and Jamie Hudson was saying Meyers was originally hoping to play the end of this road trip. That would be Wednesday in Houston. I was shocked as there was the report of 4-6 week and maybe there was very minor damage done. Hope he isn't too susceptible to re-injury. Be better for him to get totally healthy if sitting out more will reduce the risk. With a young guy such as he teams will overpay on a small sample size at the end of the year. But if he develops a chronic injury teams will be more weary.

I've heard whataburger is delicious. That buffalo ranch chicken finger sandwich looks good, wish we had them here!

Never actually gone... theres one like 2 blocks from my place lol. Lots of amazing food here. The thing I miss is asian food though.... really underrated in Portland. Nobody comes to Texas for Thai.

Their music has been top notch so far. I didn't realize Stevie Wonder was hip hop...

Its terrible, so loud and annoying in person. Glad the Rose Garden toned down the noise and doesn't have all wanna be crap hip hop.

I can understand when its Atlanta or some team that doesn't draw well and need to pump in noise to give the illusion of a bigger home court advantage. But the Spurs? Thought they would be above that.

Complacent fans.

Vonleh is the future. Or at least we're betting some of our chips on him. Gotta develop him. He rebounded well.

The lack of patience with Vonleh is disappointing.

It doesn't help that Nic is doing really well right now, but I think we sorta expected that in his contract year.

I Don't watch Blazer games until Frazier gets real minutes, Kaman is downgraded to bench warmer or, in other words, until I believe we have a coach worth a shit

Are we going to waste Dame's prime years with a mediocre cast? Looks like it. When you have an All-Star, you surround them with talent that's ready to contribute. We wasted a lot of LA's prime years, I really don't want to see the same happen to Dame.

Yeah thats why this is a 2 year rebuild. After two years if we don't have some pieces it may be shop Dame time. I don't expect it comes to that though; we get an allstar in a trade or draft and a few of our role players improve we're a respectable playoff team.

Its certainly a much different rebuild than say the TWolves who can wait 4 years until their stars begin to hit their primes. Clock is ticking with Dame.
