Elleby's got three and half minutes to score. I'm betting he doesn't manage it.
 
This has the distinct feeling of the 19-20 season written all over it.
 
Maybe Elleby should cut his hair? You know change it up a bit? Couldn’t hurt right?
 
Couldn't shoot, pass or rebound all night....butt kicked....game 14 of new look training camp system is in the books......doesn't matter what system you run if you can't execute on the court and we're getting lit up from deep
 
Just hoping that they fire Olshey soon and the new GM or interim GM makes some much needed trades. Tonight's game was depressing. Tomorrow night's game will likely illicit the same emotion. This roster is so poorly constructed. Without the other team having to game plan for Dame, even in his diminished state, we really don't have much.

nance for roco is the obvious one.

does he dare do zeller for nurk? nurk is the anchor of our defense and we'd be screwed without him, but his laziness these last few games has been unacceptable. how else do you hold a guy accountable?

that would take a lot of guts. and Billups repeatedly citing effort as a reason to change lineups. While CJ's shot selection and gameplay can be annoying, i don't think you can point to his effort really lacking.

Roco/Nurk are the obvious culprits there. Those dudes look totally disengaged. Roco moreso, all season.

 
What an embarrassment. Every day I'm thankful for the money I'm not spending on Fubo or Commiecast.
Sure, we were without Lillard......
.....but they are still without Murray, didn't have Porter and Barton didn't play.

My goodness, where is the pride. This may need to be a MASSIVE turnover and sadly, that may include Dame. This team just isn't built to compete and their drive seems gone. I know I'm going to get effort out of Powell, Nas, Ant, Nance and Zeller. After that, who knows who shows up on any given night.

I'd much rather watch a bunch of rookies and effort guys at least play hard than this high-paid prima donna's that just don't act like they give a sh!t.
 
I've been told Blazers are 6 points/game worse because of Dame's play this season. I guess it's good he didn't play tonight otherwise Portland would have lost by 35

take Dame and his shots out of the lineup must mean Nurkic would get more shots. Wait...he only got 5?

does it look like a lot of Blazers haven't bought into Billups yet? They certainly don't grok his offense
 
CJ is a selfish bastard. Nurk is lazy as dog shit. Roco doesn't give a damn. Powell is being played out of position. Dame took a shit to start the season. Nance is getting Stottsed.

What a fucking embarrassment.

This roster should be far better than this. Is Billups just a shitty coach and unable to put it together or is it the players not putting in the effort?
 
I didn't watch game and seems like I didn't miss anything. But Nurk goes when he involved in the offense and didn't see that happening with CJ and Simons in the back court. Both our shoot first and pass later type of guards. The biggest problem coaches believe you play due to how much you get paid. Starting lineup don't make sense and I am not talking about the height you got 3 guys in Dame and CJ and Powell is shoot first and pass later. Yes I see Dame getting assist but he should be getting over 10 a game. I truly believe CJ need come off the bench or get traded. Dame Powell Nas Nance and Nurk should be the starting lineup.
