I would be right with you flying the go team go Blazer flag if it weren't for the fact that this team is getting BLOWN OUT not in the fourth quarter but in the SECOND QUARTER on a consistent basis now. The game is over before halftime and I don't see that changing anytime soon until they start playing LOCKDOWN DEFENSE and giving EFFORT.

The Pelicans normally shoot 43%....they shot 55%. For the 2nd game in a row, an opponent got a season high in points. This isn't just bad, they just aren't competing. It's sad that as much $$$ as Paul Allen spent this off-season, this is the effort he is getting.

Pelicans hit some crazy shots they don't usually make. I saw lots of possessions in which we played good D but then they'd make some crazy shot.

I will say this if Olshey doesnt do any sort of trading before the deadline, his time may be near. It is clear this lineup is broken. And Im not talking a minor trade I'm talking Cousins or bust trade.

The forum gave me a lot of shit for simply asking if his seat is warming up. But if I were Paul Allen, I wouldn't be too pleased at spending 140 million per year on this squad.

Neil has been good in the draft, but the rest of his body of work isn't very good. The Affalo trade, letting go of Rolo while signing Meyers, overpaying Crabbe. And heck, if he was so desparate for a ball handling SF, why not just keep Batum? I was not a Batum fan but at least he was a fair 3pt shooter.

Hell, we may as well have just kept Rondae Hollis Jefferson, at least he'd bring us good defense.

Nice to see them win the board battle but if you go by that to determine effort, they've only given effort twice this season.

If this was still M&M, this would all be the refs fault and the other team wouldn't even be on the court. Like them because they were so familiar but to me, Calabro is so much better in his description of the actual game instead of how he wished it was going.

i dont care how people want to spin any kind of stats - watching the game proved we're in a fuckin rut and aren't playing with the confidence or execution we had last year.

right now, we're playing bad. the last handful of games have been exceptionally tough to watch. we've struggled in many facets of the game, and lost to teams we all thought we should be wiping the floor with.

and it hurts my eyes.

I'm also massively pissed at the results coming from off-seasons signings. utterly feeble.

i can't blame people for hating on the play of the team atm, its hard to watch - especially after the joys of last year.

even though our record is even, our current trajectory is what i'd loosely call, 'mega fucked', what's next? player only meetings? maybe they need to print off the box scores, pay for some billboards around town, and post em up - its about time some of these PAID guys start getting asked the hard questions, cause seriously - wtf.

i just dont know whats going to inspire these guys to pivot or to rediscover the form and dominance of last year, but whatever that is, it seems a looooooooooooooooooong way away.

Naw their just not good. They played hard against the Pelicans today and you can still just tell their not good at all. It's really a testament on how great Lillard is playing this season to have them at 7-7 and Cj to an extent. Harkless has improved too. Credit to him. Other than that everybody is hella trash.

Sometimes certain players just are not good at defense.

Nothing wrong with that but that's just how it goes. Blazers have just a ton of those on one team.
