When Melo joins the team, should the Blazers insert him into the starting line-up?

well, for the first 18 minutes of the half, the Blazers were moving the ball and themselves very well...then they just stalled. I'm not sure if Houston made any adjustment or not, or if the Blazers just dropped into old habits

and on of the biggest old habit is lapsing into iso mode when the opponent ratchets up defensive intensity

We need Melo teaching Little how to shoot and Little teaching Melo how to defend

He needs to work on his 3 he's getting a lot of wide open looks. Like his D just needs to be smarter about it.

Honest to god we should be waaaaay better than this. We are so talented I don’t understand how we can suck this bad

The problem is we have never handle pressure it not all the coach we got veteran PG that hasn't handle pressure since he been in the league. That to me been the biggest Achilles heal in his play. I don't taking last second shots I mean he doesn't handle double teams on him it might have something to do with his height.
It's not Dame's fault man...

Blazers, just because Harden or Westbrook drive to the hoop everybody doesn’t need to just completely leave the 3PT shooters to help

If Lillard is even semi himself this game is much closer or we even lead right now

Rockets seem like a bad team to quit guarding the 3 against.

Damian Lillard throughout his entire career has handled pressure by hitting the outlet man instead of trying to go 1 on 2. With help defense waiting.
His entire career he's put his team in a position to play 4 on 3 out of the pick and roll.
That's the right basketball play.
If you don't like that. Go watch OKC before they traded Statsbrook. You'll see how effective it is to go 1 on 2 with help defense.
You put up numbers, but you don't get W's.

Much more 'player' based than 'scheme' based.
I like Stotts...pretty much done with that debate around here...it's chemistry from my view...Dame has been pointing his finger all night for players who are out of position...
