• Friday’s game marks the second of four meetings between the Trail Blazers and the Timberwolves during the 2018-19 season. Portland leads the season series, 1-0.

• LAST MEETING: The Trail Blazers had their largest margin of victory of the season, beating Minnesota 111-81 in Portland on Nov. 4. I think we'll beat these Wolves rather handily. Coming off of a loss our team plays like they have something to prove. Plus we beat the Wolves by 30 last time and although they have two new players, I still think they have major issues matching up with our guys.

We should all be aware that the Wolves are 6-1 at home with a losing 6-9 record. We are just 1/8 the way through the season, so a win is great & sets the road trip mentality for our players. A loss is not severe handicap at this time. Stotts couldn't say it better.

This game will be tough. MIN looks MUCH better now that the Butler situation is behind them and they just beat the Pelicans WITH Davis. Blazers have to have this win or the road trip could get ugly in a hurry.

But he doesn’t really fit with Turner. Baldwin is useless if he doesn’t have the ball in his hands and isn’t a floor spacer.

My guess is one of the rookies gets a shot in the first half and then Terry tightens the rotation in the second.
