The logic that “we had a bad night and loss to the worst team” so were always going to play down to that level is an absurd argument.Did you forget , with Lillard playing 37 minutes and scoring 39 points, and Whiteside going 22 and 11, that we lost to the Golden State Warriors, the team with the worst record in the NBA? With one home win (the Blazers).
Did something change since then that would warrant a meltdown? Amnesia take hold?
one game is one game. Can’t count how many times ive heard the GS game pulled out as if it’s some undeniable proof that all is lost.
