If you could cut one player on our roster (removing their contract from our cap), who would it be?

Did you forget , with Lillard playing 37 minutes and scoring 39 points, and Whiteside going 22 and 11, that we lost to the Golden State Warriors, the team with the worst record in the NBA? With one home win (the Blazers).

Did something change since then that would warrant a meltdown? Amnesia take hold?
The logic that “we had a bad night and loss to the worst team” so were always going to play down to that level is an absurd argument.

one game is one game. Can’t count how many times ive heard the GS game pulled out as if it’s some undeniable proof that all is lost.

I’m split on the player question.
Bazemore isn’t playing well and has a large contract and Tolliver is a pretty good option also.
I would have to think Baze with an expiring contract has more value but they sure could use a good player in that position?

Shoulda kept Turner instead of Bazemore. We’d have a backup pg and 2nd unit’s offense wouldn’t be a total shot show. I called this before the season started. Nobody appreciated Turner.

also shoulda kept Aminu instead of Tolliver and/or Mario.

The grass is always greener.

The funny thing is i bet the Blazers have lost the worst team in the league or at least one of them every year i have ever watched the team.

Beat the Cavs then the Bulls. 3-3 road record is not bad then win two at home.

To answer the quiz, it would be a dream-come-true to make McCollum's contract disappear. If the vote is on talent alone, it's Hezonja or Tolliver. But we need Tolliver right now, while Hezonja hurts us everytime he plays with his flashy turnovers. So between Hezonja and McCollum, I voted for McCollum.

Here's a weird and troubling stat: over the past ten games, CJ has played 379 minutes and shot a grand total of TWELVE fts. He's made 6 of them.
For comparison: James Harden has played 2 minutes more (381) and shot 136 fts - more than 11 TIMES as many.

OMG we are wearing the red curse jersey again UGh!

It's not even Tolliver's fault... But he barely belongs out there at his natural position, playing him at center it's just such a mismatch...

Why would Cleveland want to remind people of the Bobby Sura years? People hated that uni AT THE TIME and time has not improved it.

CJ’s game is about getting a clean look by avoiding contact.

Did all those people that gave Melo a hard time for waiving off CJ just see CJ do it to Skal while Skal had a PG on him with good seal position?
