this was my first game thread since like 2012. And I have only one review of tonight...

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Can I be the gaffer?????

Nurk needs to get his ass in shape and he needs to practice free throws.
He forced overtime missing freethrows tonight...we win it in regulation if he didn't miss those last two..before those he was 2 for 5 I think at the stripe

Always good to get a win.

Negatives- I watched a bunch of confusion on passes and defense again in the first half mostly.
Seems like the Melo experiment has pretty much run it's course. he isn't any better against the second units.
The team is still missing shots they usually make and the FT shooting seems worse than usual.

Positives- The missed passes on offense and bad timing seem to be just that. Timing is getting better and they are trying a few things they were not trying before.
The Roco/DJJ tandem is starting to get a little better and i watched them work better tonight.
Nurk is playing better and looks to be getting in better shape every game.
When they needed stops tonight they came.
Dame trusted a few guys to make shots. Mainly CJ and he made them.

They should not have been that close tonight but you have to admit Harden was an absolute beast in that game. Tucker played a great game as well as Woods.
If Melo will play like he did in the fourth quarter, passing and only taking a couple of bad shots then he's OK in the rotation. I hope that was something that was made clear to him and not just some fluke.

someone revoke this guys mod privilege! :bgrin:

He traveled all game...Lebron does too though
Traveling in a congested lane is the oldest superstar treatment in the book. Traveling like Harden does all by himself with the refs staring right at his feet before busting a three... that's something that I've only seen him get to do. Just gets to moon walk until he's out of his defender's reach. I really hope we can get him and that advantage.

Cj obviously played well
Dame had an off night IMO
Jones played well despite his stats
Simons looks much more comfortable out there on D.
CJ needs to take the last shot when he is rolling. His mid-range shot is much better than Dames.

Lol... like the LOTR reference in there!

Simons looks bigger to me. Taller.
