I think every basket that the Knicks have had in the last 20 minutes was because of a defensive mistake by Yi.

Second that notion. He's completely clueless. At least guess which way a guy might go, he obviously can't react and then move his feet, because his guy will be by him. They have to play zone with him on the floor. Even then, he still gets exposed. I think they forgot to teach D in China.

Which is why you need to play zone to avoid that mismatch. Still, he's supposed to be an athletic 7 footer, and he's a disgrace defensively no matter who he guards. Not a hater, he's a good offensive player, who does not know how to play D.

Yi was getting humiliated out there. And it wasn't just his perimeter defense either. He was slow on rotations, he got posted up by those "6'8" forwards" and got schooled, he wasn't hustling, his help defense was late by around 30 seconds. I could go on if you want.

Never excused Yi's poor defense. I just said idiots love chanting Yi's name. The guy is a star, everyone focus on him. Net's team defense is one of the worse in the league and Knicks offense is one of the best.

I guess Harris had 4 fouls, but that was a long time to go without him. Sometimes a coach can overreact when a guy gets to 4 fouls. It's the second half. In college, guys play with 3 fouls throughout the second half, and only get taken out when they get to 4 fouls.
