My guess is because he is the 3rd string center and we only needed 2 in each game. A ten man rotation is about as many as you want.

Yep. I agree. Meyers is a little expensive. But he will get his time when the team needs a backup.

Honestly I think it has to due with the people infront of him rather than Nards himself.
As even in the Philly game the 2 minutes he got he did good things on the court.
I'm one of the biggest Nards haters as I don't think he belongs on an NBA team. But even I can see outside of the first time he got in with Layman and pat. Nards has shown he is at least not looking like drift wood.

Just for fun, I calculated the dollars per minute the Blazers are paying each player. With players like Dame and CJ getting the max, I assumed they'd be at the top of the list. Meyers couldn't be 'that' over paid.....

Aminu's injury is messing up his estimated minutes; I'd go with his minutes for the games he played x 70 instead.
