It is some dweeb in his basement (generalization) who spots some new content on the internet and puts "first" in the comments of the article or post or image or whatever as fast as he/she can. In fact sometimes they put first thinking they are first and someone posts just milliseconds before them and they look like an even bigger tool since their "first" shows up second.

I wish the east was still this bad.
Then again for years now Portland has played don to eastern conf. teams. Maybe its better Portland knowing if they don't show up They'll lose to a team who is currently .500+
 
I hope they all play if they are healthy. I wanna see a big win for us in MSG. Kanter always seems to have good games against us.
 
Looks like everyone is at the jayz concert in bk. Might be a long game.
 
Vonleh has been playing with more confidence but this will be a tough matchup for him. The Blazer backcourt is really going to have to win their matchups and not turn scrubs into all-stars. Nurkic needs to have a big game as well. Finish strong Beast!

I put the Blazers in the pole position, since Nurc plays for the Blazers and says he loves it here. If he receives a max contract, then it's because the Blazers are the ones who offer it to him. The question is backwards.

Yes and no; Nurkic may like it here but part of the RFA process is that, if another team offers more and we are in a match or don’t situation, that means Nurkic has accepted the offer. It’s possible Nurkic and his agent never accept another offer but that’s a real rarity (Roy Hibbert’s max offer from NO not being accepted by his agent is the only case I can remember). Part of the business end is that other teams will offer money on players to fuck over the team who has their rights. Olshey has done this several times (Kanter bring a prime example) so I expect it’ll happen to us.
 
Blazers vs Knicks

5th game in the road trip. The Blazers have yet to spend any time at home for the holidays but my bet is they got a chance to get some good eats on the road between Washington and New York. (Is Dame still eating Vegan?) Not a huge distance to travel and a day off between. Lets hope they are layin low and ready to play today. I have this marked as a possible win.

Injuries are the questions still? Aminu is still out and there is no indication on when he will be back? Porzingis was a DNP last game against the Rockets and listed as "Questionable". They started O'Quinn and sat Kanter also. Kanter is listed as questionable with back issues also. Not exactly sure what team you will see on the court for the Knicks?

We are looking at another start for Pat C. Today this matchup is against Tim Hardaway Jr. which should be the matchup of the game. Hardaway does a lot of things. He scores well at 18 a game and pulls in rebs but also distributes as he is 3.5 assists a game. Pat has his hands full with Hardaway no question. This will be where the Blazers could have the disadvantage. Harkless has the experience here so i would not be surprised at all to see Stotts watching this and switching between the two if he sees Pat getting torched.

Nice matchup with Dame and Jarrett Jack also. I give the shooting edge to Dame but the size, strength, and defensive prowess goes to Jack. Head to head Dame will have to work hard so lets look to see if he uses other advantages. If the Blazers have Nurkic rolling and the Knicks are without Kanter and Porzingis the Blazers might be able to beat these guys in the paint.

There is no question CJ can score the ball on just about anyone. Courtney Lee will be no exception. This is the Blazers advantage IMO. I would look for CJ to have a bright lights big city game today. Dame loves New York also so fourth quarter should be Lillard time but CJ will be the guy to keep the Blazers in this or if all goes perfect he could be the deciding factor in this game early.

McLillard is the pick. The Duo should drop 50-60 points in this game. This will be easier if they can get solid inside play from Nurkic with 15-10 rebs. Then one other player to get into double digits? The Blazers will be in good shape.

One guy that is making a huge difference so far this season is Ed Davis. Again today he will be a impact guy. The Rockets essentially beat the Knicks with their second unit. The Knicks are not deep and the players coming in off the bench should have big games. Blazers have all the pieces they need to win this game. All they have to do is play smart and work hard on the defensive side. They can go 4-1 on this trip.

No defense to speak of but yeah he's a really efficient scorer. A stat-padder, to be sure, but he would have been a great PF for us. A guy who can fill up the stat sheet is always nice to have!

Looks like Kp and Kanter will play... Kp can be just like giannis to us and kill us... need to stay alert and try to defend the kid, also Kanter always have big games if offensive end against us, the key is be agressive in front of him and make him in foul trouble, he's not a good defender.

I preferer they all play. I really wanna enjoy a big win at the garden when they all playing. I feel a big perfomance for one our guys coming...

So every other team that might want him makes an offer, then the Blazers tell him if you stay here, we will give you that much too. Interesting. What if the Bulls offer him more ? Who'd wanna go to the Bulls ?
 
this guy is from Blazers Edge, hes DELUDED cause:

a) he would trade Nurk for 32 yo Marc Gasol
b) Nurk aint getting 15-18 mln contract

Yes, we BADLY need to trade Turner. But attaching Nurk, Dame, or CJ to Turner is a never going to happen.

I really want CLE to make a panic move for another "ball handler" and trade for Turner... Any set-backs with Thomas?
