Who knows none of us have seen him practice at length. Im not denying he can be special someday. Im just saying that building the hype meter the way they did creates expectations that they didnt need to do.

Hyping up a young player and him not being that player yet in his development are not the same thing and it's 100% on you if you think it is.

I could name 100's of players off the top of my head that were hyped of having incredible talent and never realized their talent, let alone in their 23rd game.

I think your entire point is overblown. The organization does have high expectations and a proven ability to develop players. Couple that with the veteran leadership of Dame/CJ and I think he'll handle any adversity just fine.

We'll see and I hope he does, but hoopsjock said like a couple games ago he's lost his confidence so..

The question was why are people critical of Simons, I'm just answering why I think people are critical of Simons. I wasn't the one being that critical of simons that was someone else, because I think he still needs time to develop. I'm just answering why I think people are critical of him and expecting more from him.

Then that's being turned into well I have crazy expectations of him, when I obviously don't.
 
Today has been the first game where I think I can say Whiteside's impact is on-par with a healthy Nurkic. I hope he plays like this for the rest of the season.
