Should we go back to Jake as the starting SF?

Dame, CJ, Nurk, Chief, and Layman. 2nd team: Collins, ET, Sauce, Curry, and Leonard. Blowouts: Trent Jr., Simons, & Swanny. Greydog out of town, Harkless.

Hey on a brighter note, I kinda liked what I saw of Nurk and Meyers playing together. Twin Towers sort of thing. Was working. I've been on Meyers case for years, but he finally is putting some quality minutes together on both sides of the court. I don't care for all the goofy faces and flexes, but if that gets him going, let'er rip.

I thought Meyers' defense last night was consistently better than Nurk's. Maybe I was missing something.

Olshey's showcasing of Evan Turnover is backfiring. Badly.

Jake was doing about all you could has with the opportunities given until Harkless was about to return. The Blazers seemed to play much better and get off to better starts for the most part with Jake in the lineup. What I don't get is when Layman was hitting shots early in the game, Stotts would never run anything for him to feed the rhythm and certainly wouldn't go back to him later.

Layman was up to 70% eFG at one point and now can't even get in a game. When the Blazers are so desperate for a wing to hit shots, there is a guy sitting on the bench who was doing just that.

I feel bad for Jake. Dude was coming along. His explosive athletic ability, and his beautiful form on his shot were starting to finally payoff. He always gave it his all. Heartless Harkless is a plodder and a pouter. I'd cut his butt ASAP!

Crazy right. Then Stotts rewards him with DNPs, yet guys like Turner and Harkless constantly fuck up then get rewarded with starting positions and no minute reductions

That’s why I’m really thinking it’s a salary thing. I think there’s no way they can justify to have Turner a 18M a year guy sit no matter how bad he is.

Thank you lord Evan Turner listed as questionable with Achilles soreness!!

It's bad when I'm happy ET is questionable.
I might not have to watch Felton 2.0 aka the walking turnover tomorrow.

I guess a lot of you in here will find out if we are better without ET tomorrow due to him being questionable.

See heres the thing Im anti ET at this point but one game wouldnt prove me right or wrong. They could go out there and just destroy SAS without ET and that wouldnt make me right. Just as the ET fans wouldnt be right if he doesnt play and the Blazers go get smoked.

The larger sample size that weve seen so far shows that ET seems to be bad and a bad fit.

Is this good or Bad?

This is a weird game to judge. The Spurs should be much better and the Blazers are showing they aren't quite as good as their record.

In December we Play against the Warriors twice, Sixers, Raptors, Jazz twice, Timberwolves, mavericks twice, Rockets, Grizzlies and Clippers.. This Month could go ugly
Perhaps we'll get Stotts fired as our x-mas present!

Believe me I am not big fan of ET I know he doesn't fits Stotts system. But just like how our offense went back to old system where there least passing and players movement ET fell right in line with it. Problem is there's a lot other players did too.

Or Evan simply overachieved over a small sample size.
