Maybe the Blazers should try a new philosophy. Start playing defense in the first half and keep team below 60 points by halftime. Seems to work for the teams they are playing against.

Funny stat of the night by Blazer broadcasting. the Blazers are 13-0 when leading after 3 quarters.....
They are 13 -0 when they lead at the end of the game too....

This is not a good stat. They have no wins when not leading at the end of 3 quarters.That means they do not have the team to overcome and comeback. Even on their own court.

I don't blame Dame. More and over the last few games he's been taking awful shots and playing hero ball. Same thing he's done in the last few years when it becomes evident the team is starting to stagnate and he feels like he can't trust anyone anymore. The team gives him the same supporting cast each year, same coach, same gameplan.

At this point unless they change the way they play, it won’t matter if they make a trade/signing or not. Not sure that kind of change happens in the middle of a season so I don’t really see the point of Stotts still being around. How many years left on his contract?

This team is fucking broken. There are 3 players on the team capable of making plays, and one of them can only make plays for himself. Any good stretches we have are luck and fools gold. I'm sure at some point in this season we're gonna have another 7-8 game winning streak where it looks like they've really turned the corner. Then we head to another 1st round exit and Olshey will spew some bullshit about how close we are. When in reality the team just sucks and we have no room to make any moves either because of all the stupid contracts he signed in 2016.

There is no way to change the way they play as long as they keep Dame and CJ together... it will always be Dame and CJ taking half the shots and the team last in the league in assists

I don't have a graph or chart. But I know that all this failure is affecting the bottom line of his shooting. Imagine doing the same thing OVER AND OVER again, with no hint of any change. They show that mice will stop looking for cheese in mazes if they aren't rewarded at the end. Human beings are the same way. They don't respond positively to repeated failures. C.J. Who i am sure is on the same track eventually. Olshey is unwavering committed to one team building strategy with absolutely no thought of needed change. In thos types of situations, things don't gradually get worse or better, they eventually just collapse.
