The Blazers need someone who can actually score off the bench. They just have no one the other team even has to worry about. I am figuring Bazemore will replace Hood, and that will weaken the bench even more. Hopefully Trent can come back soon. At least he has a chance of hitting some shots.

He's way worse than CJ right now. He doesn't even set up defenders and almost never passes. He just fires it up the first chance he has.

When I coached, if we had someone like this, you put in a rule that the only time you shoot on your first touch is if you get to the rim. Otherwise, you give it up, relocate and look to get it back.

Yep. They had chances to get this game to 6-8 but they couldn't convert. They actually got a few good stops.

BTW, I'd still take the Clippers over the Lakers right now in a fair game.

Unfortunately, if the Lakers are going to be officiated this way the whole year, no one will beat them, and that's a shame, because there are several other teams out there that are as good or better, at least on the same plane. But this star system just kills interest in me. They're good, but AD and LeBron do commit fouls and turnovers. Everytime they miss, it is not a foul on the other team. Cripes.

Clippers have better depth, but Lakers have the refs.

I know it won’t happen but what I’d really love to see is Luka Doncicing the Lakers out of the playoffs.
