Dame could score the next 20 and it wouldn't matter if they can't stop anyone it's so bad...

He wins.
His presence results in better team defense.
He is a smoother athlete.
He gets his opponents mentally rattled.
His chemistry with Dame is unparalleled.
And..
Passing.
We are 0-5 in playoffs when Nurk plays.

How could anyone watching this game, this team, think that offense is the problem? This team misses Zach, Nurk, Aminu, and Harkless like nobody's business.

You can't win when your top 2 scorers don't show up

It literally looks like they didn't practice defense at all during camp... How can the entire team even the vets like Dame and CJ not know who they're responsible for, who should rotate and all that the team defense is about as bad as I've ever seen a Blazer team...

This team has problems on offense and defense. So pretty much they’re no good.

How can you win when ever game the other team has one or two bench players outscoring your entire bench.

So frustrating watching this team.

-- Defensive rebounding. Yuck. If we aren't going to send five guys to the defensive glass, then at least release CJ so the other team has a consequence to hitting the offensive boards hard. Our reluctance to run any kind of break just makes it easier to defend us.

-- Defensive rotation = garbage. And not only don't we get out on shooters, we give up dunks. Our bigs in the pick and roll always are stuck in no-man's land, playing completely between blitzing the screen and defending the rim. They just hang 12 feet from the hoop guarding no one. Meanwhile our small guards end up defending 6-9 guys or no one at all.

-- Dame's fallen into this trap that he thinks there's a four-point shot. If he misses from 32 the next shot's going to be from 35.

-- CJ trying to dribble through three guys. Ugh.

-- Ant's a black hole with the ball. Once it gets to his event horizon it's never coming back.

-- Dame and CJ need to start using their skills to get to the line. I'm sorry, but doing that gets us easy shots and stunts opponents' runs, and they get defenders off-balance so much they definitely can draw the contact. Beyond our two leaders, though, we make bad decisions in general, and that seems to become worse in critical stretches.

-- I don't get how these guys have seen how well we play when we move the ball ... and then we just stop doing it. We've had multiple games where we've had double-digit or close to double-digit assists in the first quarter and a half-dozen or less assists in the second half.

-- Herzonja needs a change of scenery. He doesn't know his role or fit it or something.

We don’t play any damn perimeter defense. We haven’t since Stotts has been here! Look at how many wide open looks from deep Denver has got tonight and how many we have had. Crazy.
