We shoot the 4 largest % of shots around the rim in the league with the one of the worst collections of finishers in the NBA.

I don't get it...

It's fucking NBA basketball. Every possession isn't going to be perfect...

We were also last in percentage last year and are in the bottom third this year because they're not quality looks. More like Dame and C.J. trying to create something out of nothing and get to the rim but their layups are shot in an area of heavy traffic.

We just wasted a great defensive effort, as well as Memphis gifting us with many missed shots. If we don't change the way we're running our offense, we'll lose this game.

Dame/Nurk/Turner a combined 3/21... a whopping 14% shooting!

It's not all just on the bench. It's everyone but CJ tonight.

Yet we continually relied on perimeter play instead of having sets or motion that could facilitate an easy interior shot.

Nurk has already shot 3 mid-range jumpers and a 3pt shot. If that doesn't show were too perimeter-oriented, I dont know what will.

Maybe we should get more buckets inside then. Maybe get to the line? That's what I think we should try and do. That'll create confidence as well as better 3pt attempts due to the defense collapsing more.

That too, but I'd rather have him shoot layups than jumpers, especially when were not getting inside shots as it is.

My goodness. Hes been finishing really well all season, but is struggling to finish well in this game. You probably extrapolated one poor game into the common narrative, and got corrected. I dont know.

We got blocked 5 times at the rim in the first half...they got blocked 4 times....this game is all grind

Cross-Screens
UCLA Screens
Backdoor Screens
Pin Down to Curls
Post-Ups to Nurk
Or simply make the right basket cuts when their there? If only that was established as a priority by the coaching staff.

None of those things involve talent.
