Really nice win. Bench played out of its mind. Starters weather Raptors rally. Couple of really nice defensive plays and some clutch shots at the end.

Best we've looked in a while.

Is this supposed to be encouraging? Everything is clicking, were at home, Toronto is missing two starters, and we’re still struggling to finish.

Well, considering they just beat the Clippers (in LA) and the Warriors (in Oakland) without Kwahi, I'd say yes, that is encouraging.

Now whether or not they build on this win, that's a different story.

This is one of those games that out of nowhere, the Blazers play awesome as a team and could pull out a win. Kawhi has been out and Val might be out with a dislocated finger. I can't imagine there isn't a bit of a let down for them after a big win against the Warriors.

Possibly?

From page 2....I'm going to put my crystal ball back into hiding. :bgrin:

Alternatively, you could say that Lowry is the bigger key and without him...

but yeah, I'm with you. I'll get more excited if they can show this kind of play consistently. Especially the bench.

Those games took a lot out of Toronto though. Wasn’t this their third game in four nights?

Raptors beat the Warriors

And we beat the Raptors

So we're better than the Warriors.

Eight starters in double figures plus Harkless with eight. Most of our starters were in the red on the plus/minus, but the bench was waaaaay to the good.

Good win. But they were missing some key players. I'm not saying we are back on track yet. Was esp. glad to see Curry have a good game.

Nice to see the bench play well again.

Toronto's bench has been nearly as bad this year so I'm not sure how real it is and it was at home...but I did see better decisiveness out of that group and felt like they did a better job getting Seth and Zach touches in spots where they can be successful and regain some confidence.

I missed the first three quarters. Was our defense really that bad or did they hit a lot of tough shots?

So when we lost, and were missing key guys, then we should have gotten a break from the criticism as well?

Good win. I would suggest there were 2 lessons here. First, the team is waaaay better when they share/move the ball. Second, CJ is not on Dame's level when it comes to scoring efficiency.

Yes, these 2 points are related.
