I think Stotts was hoping to ignite a spark of confidence; myself, I just have the feeling he may never find it again. My first reaction is to send him to the D-league; but as some have pointed out he is the perfect tanker.
Meyers von Rommel

McCollum bricks an open 7-footer. Overrated.

I am so sick of the Barret excuses of how the ball "just won't stay in"

Vonleh makes a FT! We are hot now!

I know he's played, but haven't even noticed Harkless on the court. He's extremely inconsistent.

Crabbe misses the same 7-footer that McCollum missed, only from the other side. Then Davis gets his dunk blocked. We are rolling now!

Coffee makes an enthusiastic fan!

McCoolum makes a basket and smiles at his 9 big points in the game!

McCoolum!

I just realized that whenever McCollum makes a basket, he smiles as he backpedals toward the other basket.

Olshey has told Stotts to play Leonard and Aminu in the role of shooters. But they aren't good shooters. Just play them conventionally as inside rebounders.

Cut out the fancy shit for bad shooters. Acquire a SF who can shoot and dribble. At the midseason trade deadline.

The NO commentators praise Vonleh's footwork.

This no-name Anderson is a good outside shooter.

Meyers finally worked up the courage to put up a couple of shots....

There you go MyLe! Just shoot without hesitating.

Leonard makes the quick catch and shoot from a crosscourt pass. Some shooters shoot a lot better when they have no time to think. He was already squared off. I think he misses the quick ones when he has to quickly twist before shooting, but makes them when he's already square to the hoop.

Wait...this is the same play-by-play guy who said that Leonard had turned down what, $15 million, when previous reports had only said the word "significant." Same guy!

He just mentioned that Leonard had bet on himself before the season, but didn't mention any number. I wish the Blazer media would phone him and ask for his source for the earlier statement of a precise number.

Crabbe in and out on the free throw. Ruining his stats.

Our opponents make shots, both long and short. They just take it for granted. We can never hit the broad side of a barn.

In Stotts' first season, our shooting greatly improved from the McMillan years, off of quick cuts. Each year since then, shooting has gotten worse. A new coach brings more motivation, but it wears off.

We've reined in the turnovers, only 3 in the 3rd quarter.

Leonard makes one from the left side off a pass, this time not a really quick one like last time.

The Pelicans have eased up the defense, giving Leonard more time on his shots. What are we down, 15? It was 20.

We have no variety on our scoring. It all comes from Leonard and McCollum, and they aren't great shooters. Both are best in the catch and shoot role, depending upon others.

Down 19. Plumlee fouls Anthony Davis. Plumlee has done alright at holding him down.

McCollum had 9, is now up to 15 points when it's too late. NO eased up the defense, knowing they'll win.
