I really thought Layman played well enough as a starter he deserved to be the starting sf. I simoly dont get this Aminu/Harkless thing like Stotts is just in love with that pairing. He sticks to it like its KD and Lebron or something...

Yep. Layman earned a spot in the rotation... then Harkless comes back and it's back to rigid rotations by stotts. It's maddening.

This is the story of their entire tenure though, super inconsistant. Sometimes good sometimes not, but really every team basically begs those two to beat them because theyve proven a good portion of the time they cant.

On a night to night basis you cannot count on hark or aminu on offense and be successful

They certainly have their moments they give us “something”, I just feel like in general Layman played well enough to keep playing at least bench minutes.

I understand your point theyve played well lately. The timing is just I think Laymans movement without the ball, and aggressiveness is PERFECT for a match up with Memphis. He’s going to make their defense move.
