Dallas has the 30th ranked offense. You wouldn't know it by the start of this game. That's how bad our defense is. Not even putting a hand in guys faces. No offensive rhythm

The stoppable force meets the movable object. Who's going to come out on top?

this is what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immoveable object. Or maybe a stoppable force meets a moveable object?

I literally feel like I'm watching some dead high school game. What the fuck happened? It's so dead I can just hear people in there having conversations about other shit and not even caring about being at the game

This getting ugly right the way we are playing we could be the worse team in the NBA.

This is what happens when your team doesn't give effort. The fans that pay to watch you play dont even give a shit. The start of the season compared to this is crazy

I agree, and looks like the attendance is starting to reflect the "dead/awful" play. it's incredible how different the energy level is this yr vs last - too many big contracts?

Will somebody on this fucking team start playing like they give a shit?

when the going gets tough, get the dog to bite the opponents. Where are you sly.

Maybe this team does need someone more like Cousins who will throw a shit fit if his teammates play like bums. And that's coming from me, someone who can't stand Cousins.

napier is our savior.

Bazz playing hard. Maybe he's just playing for his next contract too though...

Napier is showing a heart beat for this team good job.

This team is too laid back. They all say they love stotts so much but you know that dude doesn't yell at them at all. He's the type to be like "no it's okay guys let's just get them next time" after a 40 point blow out

This team needs to make its money on defensive pressure and assists. They aren't talented or big enough on defense to just stand with one foot in the paint and lock it down and own the boards. They aren't talented enough individually to break people down one on one save for Dame and CJ.

THIS! If he spent half as much effort yelling at his players as he does bitching to the refs, we'd have a winning record right now.

and here i thought we could hold them to under 30

Of course, that's why they all love him. He doesn't discipline them and he lets them do whatever they want. That's why we have players constantly doing stupid shit or trying to do way more than they are capable of. It made more sense to coach that way early last season when we were in full rebuild mode and no one expected anything out of us. Then we realized we were much better than anyone could have hoped, and started believe we could achieve more. Once that becomes the case, you'd think Stotts would alter his coaching a little, but he seems to be in the same mode of "let's let players play so they can realize their abilities and develop their games," but the rest of us are wanting more.

30 points to the Mavericks without dirk there is no hope.
