In response to the poll question:

I'm not sure how it's debatable given all that Bojan Dubljević has done for our organization.

In all seriousness, weren't there people here that were high on Layman, saying he should play more, and wasn't uutilized correctly in Portland?

Obviously these guys can put a game together. Very tough to go into any teams gym and beat them twice in a row. I would think even more so two days in a row.
Lets see what the Blazers can come up with?

both teams look like they're battling the daylight saving time

why do we settle for threes when lanes are open? we can attack and find more open shots later in the clock as well. making defenses uncomfortable has an impact on their efficiency later in the game.

this is just a fundamental thing i can't agree with stotts on, among many. so many possessions with one pass, or no pass, then shot

1-10 to start the game, most of which were open looks. Ugh

against weak defensive teams like minnesota, we move the ball around, those open shots are gonna be available all the damn time. and this time, would get us into a rhythm or to the foul line. i can't stand terry's philosophy on this. we miss open shots... the rationale is always, keep shooting, they'll go in eventually. Rather than do something to get yourself in a better position to make shots now.

This team is hard to get excited about. When you have THE worst defense, perhaps in history, you should at least be able to shoot 20%

rubio is getting away with a ton of contact.

what else is new, handchecking is allowed against dame.

Yes, this is a very rational mindset. The goal of each possession is to get a quality attempt. If you're getting quality attempts and missing, don't change your strategy. If Dame missed 4 wide open threes, I'd still want him to take the 5th wide open threes because the 7000 previous attempts of his tell me it's a great shot for us.

Sooner later our defense going to falter and usually happens in the 2nd quarter. So the way we shooting we might be in trouble and Trent shot has gone south.
