Do you think it was a mistake to deal Jake Layman away?

Yes, this is a very rational mindset. The goal of each possession is to get a quality attempt. If you're getting quality attempts and missing, don't change your strategy. If Dame missed 4 wide open threes, I'd still want him to take the 5th wide open threes because the 7000 previous attempts of his tell me it's a great shot for us.
it's not how basketball is played. lemme guess, you don't believe in guys being clutch either.

i love kat, man. would trade both CJ and Nurk for a chance at this guy.

has a chance to be the best offensive big man ever if he can sustain this effort

Who the fuck is this Nowell for Minnesota hes fucking amazing

KAT is an impact player...on this team he's the gold standard.

really ugly qtr by both teams so far...get some momentum now

this team plays a really ugly brand of basketball on both ends. defense is a joke and not signing a backup big when Giles went down was downright criminal.

We look oK when shots go in, but we do absolutely nothing to get easy shots. Stats back me up. Amongst the leaders in the league yearly in fewest open shots.

What "isn't how basketball is played"? When a teams best FT shooter has missed his last two FTs and there is a technical foul shot, they almost always still give their best FT shooter the attempt because the larger sample size means more than the smaller one.

You'd have to provide me your defintion of "clutch" for me to give you my thoughts. I typically don't get caught up in labels that can mean different things to different people.

Kind bounce for Ant two consecutive times. Shooter’s bounce

The bench is coming through so far and looks like Melo is still hot. Simons don't look bad with couple basket and 2 assist.

We just don't have the instincts of when to collapse on a guy under the basket.

Not exactly what you're talking about, but I hate that we double on Stotts' whistle. One potential benefit of double-teaming is catching the offensive player by surprise; the team needing an audible command totally takes that away.

I was talking about Reid down there and even the second time Reid pushed Anf to the basket. The first time Reid had the ball so low, no way he could pass, 2nd time could see in his eyes no way he will pass. It almost seems like our guys are thinking is this allowed within the rules we have been given?

Dame got about 7 and a half minutes bench time so far in this qtr...load management
